We have to help middle class America before extending the depths of poverty. It’s like we’re putting the problems of Americans on hold and the rich will just get richer

I would argue that it’s not 15 to 17 year teenagers that already have family in the country, but rather families send their teenagers in hopes they can get in. THEN, the immediate family has a good chance of getting a green card also because THAT”S OUR POLICY. This might seem humane, but it’s an incentive to exploit children and the system. Look it up.

They have been saying that since 1912 when they won the war with Mexico. How many presidents have we had since that time until now. We have never had an open border between Mexico and America . The walls haven’t done it from that time until now. There has to be a different approach to this situation.
They immigrate to the US because 1) The Republicans passed EMTALA and that gives illegal immigrants the health care that they need and often they don’t have good health where they live. 2) Illegal immigrants receive plenty of jobs when they immigrate to the US and the jobs pay much higher wages. And even though it’s illegal to hire undocumented aliens, plenty of Americans hire illegal immigrants because the Americans gain more from hiring illegals than they lose due to fines. In other words the laws that prevent the hiring of illegals are not only weak but are largely unenforced. And neither political party in the US wants to increase those fines or strongly enforce those laws. 3) Illegal immigrants live on the hope that they will, in time, receive an amnesty. And neither party wants to pass a law that will prohibit amnesties. 4) The children of illegals receive a primary education and it can’t be denied them because a Republican leaning Supreme Court ruled that these children of illegal immigrants have a right to an education. 5) and don’t forget that they are running from dangers. So you see illegal immigrants most often improve their living conditions when they move to the US and that is a huge incentive to illegally immigrate. To stop it we have to stop the incentives.
You can tell these people do not live in the RGV.
The issue is that being in a facility is, in their minds, better than whatever they are going through.

Think for yourself, why do Republicans never talk about EMTALA? Why have Republican refused to greatly increase the fines and punishments for those who hire illegal immigrants? Why did a Republican controlled congress refuse to fund Trump’s wall? Why did Republicanbs pass six amnesties. Why, when Republicans have full control of the government does abortion and immigration get put on the back burner? There’s more to this problem than you know. The above list are actions that speak volumes but somehow Trump’s base is willfully blind. The GOP needs to apologize for lying.
Then put those words into action.
