    1. The massive pandemic profits of those that bet the loaded dice of Fauci gain of function. That is how the green demon game is played.

  1. The Romance languages are all gendered, and their speakers have never been bothered by this. How is it my business, as a speaker of a Germanic language, to tell speakers of other languages how to speak? Besides, I wouldn’t like it if a Latino told me I should call myself a gringx.

    1. This controversy is all a racist GOP hoax to divide us and make us look stupid and petty. Entirely on a level with Dr. Seuss.

  2. What’s the big deal if people don’t want to this word? The Spanish language has been around for a long time, significantly longer than the “issue” of inclusive language. If spanish cultures don’t want to adopt it, it’s their choice.

  3. Who came up with this stupid term? We already have/had Chicano, Latino, Hispanic, etc. Can we settle on something and stick to it?

  4. There is no debate, if you prefer the term then use it, just know most Latin people dont use that label…

  5. I prefer “Mexicana” because that is my nationality, even though I have a dual citizenship (Mexico/USA) but in general “Latino” works for me. Latinx is not my choice, I find it imposing, just another label, not who I am. Besides, what does gender identity has to do with nationality/ethnicity/lgbtq?????? Come on people!

    1. That’s democratic party BS talk, just like I have never heard someone refer to themselves as a “person of color”.

    1. @J Pl You don’t want to worship the gluteus maximus? Why? Is gluteus minimus more your thing?

    2. Scientifically speaking, human races are not a thing. Only one race people. Lovely to be proud of ethnicity, and honestly, it’s human to be tribal. But it’s important to be consciously, not reflexively, tribal. Please don’t feed the beast carelessly and create frivolous divisions.

  6. Today is the first I’ve heard of LatinX. I mean, I live in New york, and I never heard anyone refer to themselves as Latin X.

    1. I live in Chicago it’s about 33% Hispanic, 33% Black , and 33% white and never heard anyone call them Latinx. I think I’m going to start calling myself North American of African decent

  7. It’s Latinos. Period. Too much progress guys. Don’t change the language to fit your personal ideology.

    1. So you speak Latin? Cogito, ergo sum? Pater Noster? Ora pro nobis? What is “Latin” about peoples who were colonized for centuries by genocidal Spain?

  8. Yeah, please don’t ever refer to me as LatinX. I’m Latina (Mexican American) and I’d much rather be called a Mexican American. And yes, Spanish was my first language.

  9. It’s a lot like “Ms.” One can understand the sentiment without adopting a term that has a distasteful dissonance to it.

  10. Spanish like French and Italian are gendered languages. Latinx is just woke hilarious nonsense. It’s not inclusive it’s just moronic. Lol. I love it. Please keep using it.
