Aspiring Nigerian neurosurgeon Chidiebere Ibe wants to revolutionize medical diagrams with his drawings of patients with Black and non-white skin tones,. He explains that this could go a long way to giving Black and other racialized patients better care.

  1. Let me get this straight — it’s a cross-section of the INTERNAL anatomy but you’re concerned about the EXTERNAL skin colour, and think that some sort of major issue needing to be addressed?
