  1. Happy Easter to both of your colleagues!!! Mr. Roth has literally been reborn, and Miss Jafari has become more whole through her gift. He doesn’t need to pay back. He can pay forward. Perhaps in honour of this miracle, CNN employees can start a foundation to help defray costs for those needing transplants who might not have adequate health insurance.

  2. You can have my heart Richard, it’s already yours. Thank you for the random giggle, how many CNN employees are running to check their contracts! 😂😊🌸🌸

  3. That’s sweet of her. She couldn’t love with herself if he died so she stepped forward. Power of good people is understated now days.

  4. This is the kind of thing that can restore the dying embers of my faith in humanity. It’s so easy to lose track of stories like this when the world is being turned into a dystopian nightmare.

  5. What a wonderful woman, in this day and time, she thought of Richard more than she thought of herself. A really, really good human being.

  6. This is the first cheerful story I’ve seen in at least many months. Best wishes to them both.

Also, couldn’t help but grin widely at the description of Richard Roth as a CNN OG. 😆

  7. Thank you for this story. I am waiting for a liver transplant and this story has really encouraged me as I lay in bed hoping the phone will ring.
Did you know it only takes 3 months for a liver to regenerate to its full size so it’s only necessary to transfer 2/3 of the donor’s liver.

  8. Omg I got goosebumps, God bless you all ❤️
Samira thank you sweetie, God bless you always ❤️❤️
Hope you both recover soon 😊

  9. How heartwarming! I thought this was going to be about COVID. Honestly, there isn’t enough coverage on the current pandemic…
