  1. DC/PR statehood. That would help balance the Senate.
Edit: John C. Caulhon was the father of it.

    • We are a failing democracy because of 1) the electoral college 2) plurality voting 3) the Senate.

Solutions: 1) remove it 2) replace it with rank choice or approval voting 3) change it; give statehood to DC and PR; end the filibuster.

Not easy, but this is “the hole in the roof”. We can ignore it, but it will not ignore us.

yes anything to rig the system even more in favor of the Democrats? Don’t think it will ever happen.

PR Statehood would mean another 200 billion or more added to the deficit. In that sense, PR is very much like the existing Red States — in need of lots and lots of Federal funds to stay afloat.

@WakeUpAmerican000s As Puerto Ricans are American citizens then they should get that help from the federal government anyway.

  4. get rid of the filibuster its getting in the way of the will of the people.

    • I agree but also getting in the way of the American people is some of the people we are putting in office…

      peace and blessing to you

@Bill Hodge apples to oranges not even close to the same was harry Reid a rep or a dem mister hypocrite

    • As well as the electoral college and “citizens united”…

    • not only get rid of the filibuster and most of the republicans in office

    • @A T 7 million more on one side isn’t ‘half’.. just because the senate is 50-50 doesn’t mean The People are. Congresses job is to execute the will of the people, not the authoritarians.

  5. Eliminate the electoral college and Dems will always win by popular vote. Republicans have only won the popular vote once on the last 32 years.

    • @Brandon Jontz
Rural Americans have their state and city governments. They should not have the unfair ability to control the federal government over the wishes of the majority in the country.

    • @Ferrando Davis
Most of the country. Voter ID laws are a recent development.

    • @R Steel
What makes you think you will “lose all control?” That’s really the crux of it, isn’t it. You want “all control” and don’t feel like the rest of the country, who outnumber you, should have ANY control.

But the reason the country is in the mess it is, is because of all the Republican policies that have been enacted for the past 40 years. The Republicans have had full control over the nation’s policies and look what those policies have brought. The War on Terror, the War on Drugs, deregulation, lowered taxes for the wealthy and corporations, and just about everything the Republicans wanted has been enacted; and those policies have been an abject failure.

Apparently the fact that you still have state and municipal governments and that you still have representatives in the federal government isn’t enough; you have to have “all control” and believe that only you “real Americans” should have any influence in how the country is run. Your own language betrays what you really think and what you really want: “all control”.

    • @Pieshka
Everything you say is massive projection. You have no idea what folks on the left want, so you make up a bunch of BS to justify your blind hatred.

That’s funny, because when I saw his picture and the only word I could see in the title of the video was tool, I made that immediate connection as well.

  9. “If anyone, then knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.” James 4:17

  10. GOP has already shown they will burn down democracy to hold power… and they will if given the chancr in the near future.

@loki 1 so biden lost well that accounts for trumps blackmail phone calls that the world listened to, it accounts for him never coming up with voter fraud evidence, it accounts for his solicitors stepping down,or withdrawing evidence they didn’t have to start with. And now for is solicitors making statements that the big lie was exactly that ,and ho yes and his actions on the 6th there’s only one world wide fraudster and TRUMPS his NAME .

@loki 1 Now that means that you know exactly how many votes he DID get. Please print the number, state by state, county by county, so we can all be convinced and explain the process you used to determine those numbers. Otherwise, why are we supposed to believe you? Because you’re you?

  11. Moscow Mitch is such a lier. You can not believe anything he says.

    • @taylor furtick how so? They have made many of your ” reliable liberal news sources ” make so many retractions it looks like a college newspaper.. gtfo

    • That sure seems to be their end game. Unless they are really just that shortsighted and greedy, that they can’t see or don’t care about the end game. I think it will be more like Soylent Green, if humanity doesn’t get it’s sh*t together and start using those huge brains.

  14. They don’t even want to pass a law to abolish lynching and we’re in fkn 2021! How racist is this?

they’ll soon change there minds if it was the senators fate involved on the 6 of January, I don’t think they’d be backing it then. Although maybe it should be used for traitor’s against the constitution .

  15. Everything McConnell says is so obstinatly contrary to the practical business of governce, it’s difficult to see him as sane.

every voice counts – white, black, yellow, red! I disagree with what some believe and stand for, but I respect that their right to vote is as important as mine.

  17. Make voting mandatory like it is in Australia. Then the “people” will be voting.

mickus- Australia is a Free country, the US is brainwashed into believing they are Free when they are not. Right now the GOP is changing the voting laws in order to prohibit citizen’s ability to vote. Their so-called Democracy is the laughing stock of the world.

  18. Why don’t Republicans try something novel, setting policies and a political agenda that actually have a chance to be popular in a modern US?
Instead of only focusing on remaining in power and keeping sponsors happy…

    • @D. A. There is actually a certain board that has the power to place DeDouche in that position .. and remove him.. Biden has the power to REPLACE some of those board members and get them to oust that pos.. I think its a matter of time.. Biden has so many fires to put out from the KLANpig – immigration – voter nullification etc etc.. 🤦‍♂️ – and 2 yrs to get it DONE
