Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg surrendered to the Manhattan district attorney's office Thursday morning ahead of expected criminal charges against him and the company in connection with alleged tax crimes, his attorney told CNN.
Weisselberg is set to be arraigned later Thursday at a lower Manhattan courthouse. Weisselberg's attorneys, Mary Mulligan and Bryan Skarlatos, said he plans to plead not guilty and "will fight these charges in court."
A Manhattan grand jury filed the indictments Wednesday, and they are set to be unsealed Thursday around 2 p.m. ET, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The precise type or number of charges they are expected to face was not immediately clear.
Though former President Donald Trump faced multiple federal and state prosecutorial inquiries during his administration, the district attorney's indictment would be the first to charge his namesake company, the Trump Organization, for conduct that occurred when he led it.
Trump himself is not expected to be charged, his attorney has said.

If you look at a 15 year graph you will see the jobs he “created” were mainly continuing growth from the stock meltdown that happened under Bush and largely caused by a Clinton era change. These are natural ups in our economy after low points and no president deserves credit for it. But you can blame trump for how bad the economy got while he was president because it was his policies that diverted needed money to the richest possible recipients.

@Shabo B trump used the money his father gave to him, cheated many, many small businesses out of paying for work they did when trump had buildings and the casino built by refusing to pay them and then using his lawyers and bankruptcy repeatedly to deny them for work they contracted for and did in good faith. trump has made most of his money not by building but by leasing his name to buildings because he had created the illusion that he was successful. U.S. banks refused to loan trump money for the last 3 decades because he was widely known for not paying his bills. Only Deutsche Bank would loan him money and that is coming out as fraudulent because the loan officer in charge of the section that loaned him money had a large financial stake in the trump organization. The only thing that bailed trump out was his salary on the apprentice and fraudulently declaring losses and using fraudulent tax schemes (all coming out not in the N.Y. cases) to avoid paying the taxes he was supposed to pay. trump did not do any hard work except having his financial people figure out schemes to avoid paying taxes and promoting a lie that he was successful at business when all the records to date show failure after failure.

Because Biden and his family used their political positions(positions we pay for with our tax dollars) to gain enourmous wealth. Biden owns like 9 premier properties as a Senator, not withholding his actual financial assets all while making a poultry salary as a Senator. Trump took none of our tax dollars but is possibly guilty of manipulating the financial system for his benefit which is not illegal but what rich people do. I’m just tired of those in public office making millions via our tax dollars when we all know most of their time is being spent on them creating wealth due to their political position.
