The fact that foreign fighters are helping prevent Ukrainian death and misery speaks volumes …as opposed to Russia sending many thousands of their soldiers to a certain death because their government has little regard for a humans life …even their own

That much time in EOD put a person in a place that makes almost anything else in life very dull, boring, and sometimes unlivable. Seems you can’t buy a thrill to keep sane or feel more relevant than what living on the edge does. Very hard career choice but being great at that job is well beyond measurability and value to whatever deployment they are on. A life Saver.
