People in Boston take buses and trains and no mask. You can see cops not wearing masks, firefighters not wearing masks. Restaurants are getting busy, yoga studios are open, gyms are open and no so much worrying about mask. People aren’t going to give a sht by summer.

@Wes Peeble Yes, but for example, when Polio or Influenza first happened, people weren’t accustomed to it and got severely sick or died. Naturally some people would adapt over time but vaccines help boost your immune system by getting it used to a small amount of the virus. So instead of doing stuff like “chicken pox parties” of knowingly sending a kid to a sleepover to infect others for example, vaccines are a safer way to get accumulated to a virus (and it doesn’t risk you infecting others rather than catching it naturally).

Which is and was always correct. But we have never once, at any point, had a total shutdown. Some states had none at all and there’s been 0 federal restrictions except the minor ones implemented by Biden.

@robotron17 The data shows the masks do work. The problem is that some people aren’t using the properly or disregarding gathering rules. These can be fixed. The Danish Study you quoted did not prove mask doesn’t work it was inconclusive. Where as there are plenty of studies that supports mask working as a prevention. So all in all the only sources you can gather does not actually say mask is not effect, it only say “we can be sure of anything”. However there are plenty of research shows that mask wearing is good. So you are basically cherry picking the studies that barely barely barely “prove” your point while ignoring all the studies that disprove it.
