    1. Well let’s Manuchin which companies got the $500 billion loans…. because it’s supposed to be transparent when it’s not.

    2. Technically they weren’t wasted, as Wall Street for the 3rd straight year is seeing record Corporate Stock Buybacks. Btw, those create unsustainable bubbles…

    3. Eco Geek : Could the nation’s protestors please wake up, and stop Donny’s wall around the White House from going up? It’s obscene, anyway, like his Typhoid Trump rallies. But, it’s also in preparation for the coming revolt, when they’re forced to call off the elections, or cheat so blatantly, that there’s a Revolution. They aren’t just going to sit there, waiting to go to JAIL, America? They’re busy, cheating and preparing, EVERYWHERE

    4. When the virus was first revealed in December, I knew it would arrive here, watching Trump’s mom response was like watching a slow motion train wreck. When the stimulus package was announced I thought that keeping the country closed until June, with the economy on life support, we could get the virus under control. The early reopening, and the refusal to wear masks has wasted the stimulus package, and there is nothing left in the cupboard. The spiking in several states will lead to another shutdown, without a second spike, and it could lead to a total economic collapse. The dollar has lost 8% to the Euro in the last month, and it will get worse.

  1. We are victims of our own freedoms & lack of leadership from the top. We are advised to wear a mask instead of being forced to wear one like the rest of the world so they survive & we die. This failure is all about playing by the rules, period.

    1. @Bud Fudlacker Here in New Zealand we are pretty much virus free , how is stupid working out for you ?

    2. @Adventure54 I thought that silly red cap had aluminium foil in it so that will deflect the virus and stop the government from taking away your 2nd amendment rights. Stay safe from Australia.

    3. @Dave Ponsford I Agree! State governors need to grow a pair & make it mandatory to wear a mask. Look at the President, leading by example is not one of his strong point……He too refuses to wear a mask.

    4. @Jim Spink 🤣😂yeah, them MAGAhaters are a piece of work. Stay safe in Australia as well…. I visited your country on a port call aboard the USS Enterprise around 1982…. beautiful country.

    5. And we’re in no better shape for the second wave. The President has abdicated any responsibility and leadership, leaving public health protocols up to each individual because of our constitutional right to freedom and to peaceably assemble. This is what happens when we elect a fake President of the United States, who conned his supporters into believing that he alone can fix the problems of our country.

  2. The problem is we have a president who wanted to reopen the country as soon as possible for his reelection. And the Republican Governors wanted to follow him because they’re afraid of him tweeting against them. Now we have multiple states, a lot of them with republican governors that are seeing high spikes in covid-19. Out of the 4 major Hotspots FL, CA, TX, and AZ 3 of them have have Republican governors, and i followed the news and they did not treat the virus seriously. CA i don’t know know what happened.

    1. @Michael Bowes It’s the crazies that believe and follow those tweets that Republicans are afraid of.

    2. @Stephen Perrenod yes. If the Republicans keep following Trump then many of them will lose the their seats this election.

    1. @Toni Rodriguez I am afraid you will need your escape plan. I don’t see how you can communicate when the other side (Republican) is borderline insane. You may only hope that the Republican party will be reconquered by the normal Republicans like the ones from the Lincoln project, otherwise it’s over and out.

    2. Kay Clark Do not keep on putting the blame on other countries. Its US voters who vote yr POTUS in, based on ignorance.

    3. @David Clark Your political system is corrupted by money and corporate control. No need for Russia to intervene.

    1. @wily wascal civility. It’s what missing from our political leader. The word “decency” has no meaning in our political climate. It’s not just coming from the right but also from the left with cancel culture.
Both racism and cancel culture are nothing but to instill fear, an authoritarian mechanism.
Someone need to show that libertarianism is better than authoritarianism, unfortunately, libertarian is somehow hijacked by the right…

    2. @MrOmegacutz ~Don’t see any equivalence between Democrats and the GOP cult, which isn’t to say all Democrats are perfect, or that the Democratic Party is perfect. In actuality, see the two major parties going in two different directions–one sinking itself into the muck and mire, and the other seeking to elevate itself and all of us out of dark, and into enlightenment.

So-called cancel culture has always existed in every society, in one form or another. It is more a force for good, although taken too far can also do harm. It’s become one of the new bogeyman phrases on the right for us all to fear. But some of us don’t scare so easily. The more you know, the less afraid, right?

Is cancel culture a mob mentality, or a long overdue way of speaking truth to power?

    3. @wily wascal I agree that from where I stand that I will vote blue. The problem is our election system, the winner takes all system.
Here is where I stand. I am as libertarian as Ron Paul but as left as Bernie Sanders.

I’m talking about political compass. Both what we call Democrat and Republican party are way up there in the middle of authoritarian axes.

So here I am choosing the lesser of 2 evils.

    4. No you are not, it’s your president who is a shithole and the people around him, yous hve the power, vote him out get someone who knows how to lead not one who just corrupts everything, after everything that yous have gone thru and having to put up with, how many more lives need to end becoz your president is incompetent, money means more than lives

    5. @MrOmegacutz ~Don’t think there is a perfect system; multi-party governments are usually just a bigger mess. The trick is to improve and build upon what we have, because the grass isn’t always as green as it looks on the other side of the fence. Don’t think our two-party system is two evils. Sure, let’s get money out of politics–Democrats are on board, have been for years. Until we do, Democrats are forced to some extent to play the game the way Republicans have it rigged. Not to maintain big money, but to change the system, limiting such influence. Many Democrats have chosen where feasible and sometimes where risky to forego PAC money, accepting only individual donations.

That aside, whatever flaws in both parties over the past century, they have typically served as the loyal opposition to each other. That is no longer the case for the GOP, sadly. Believe we need to be very clear about the distinctions between the two parties. Because if we don’t identify the problems correctly, we don’t get the solutions needed.

First priority is to address the Republican cult, which is killing America with it’s proto-fascism. Removing the Traitor-‘n-Thief, Toxic Trump, is just the first step. Secondly, abolish the antiquated, undemocratic electoral college. Third, abolish gerrymandering and voter suppression; institute mail-in voting nationwide. Fourth, reverse horrendous Citizens United SCOTUS decision and/or legislate to fix system allowing unlimited campaign donations. Fixing these will enable and expedite further needed changes by empowering American citizens.

  3. Because from the White House came lies and a continuous push for a alternate reality. Americans, not all being the brightest simply allowed the blind to lead the blind. All in all, nature`s karma comes calling.

  4. Who’s surprised by that list? I won money on bets with former friends over how many people died from a pandemic, the economy, and the destruction of the DOJ. Yet people still want to vote for him…

    1. Hard to believe isn’t it, when you starve the people of real knowledge and education you just get a dumb population.

      Who knew?

  5. Corrupt intentions is the base of the AG cause that’s the power that drives “potus” and his family. Nail them all in 2021. Miss Kamala for AG.

  6. States that opened early are seeing huge spikes in cases and deaths. Increase in test yes, however huge spike in deaths. 15-21 day delay.

    Be safe everyone 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  7. Reopening the country by pretending the virus went away… this was the only logical outcome. We are F’ed.

  8. USA are very slow learners in regard to indulging in self-destructive behaviour. They still think their second amendment is good for them.

    1. @kalumnist Right wing provocateurs are doing the rioting in a feeble attempt to cast protestors in a negative light. Boogaloo boys ring a bell? they are the ones killing cops and causing chaos.

  9. There’s only one thing, more damaging and frustrating than refusing to take appropriate measures to face a national crisis. That’s doing it in a costly half hearted, continually undermined way. They call that, “pusillanimity.” Add that to Trump and Barr’s treason. Trump NEEDS to be behind bars, instead of hiding behind Barr

  10. Americans, in their arrogance, think they’re invincible, untouchable. Wasn’t going to take notice of all those other countries and how they contained the virus, oh, no. We’re God’s country with the chosen one as its leader. We do it our way because we’re the greatest nation on earth, Well, how’s that going for y’all.

    1. Not All Americans. 2/3 of the country know Trump for what he is, the other 1/3 are simply gullible. The GOP enabled the Trump infection and now Covid-19 is following their lead. Culling the herd?

    2. @Patricia Manzi 1/3 is a huge proportion of the population, if it was around 15%, then maybe you can say “oh its just that crazy minority”… But not when its 35%

    3. Your political system is corrupt with large corporations donating and then controlling the agenda. You need to legislate so that corporations no longer donate to individuals and parties (like in Canada) and individual donations are controlled as well.

  11. I’m Canadian and I said if trump gets elected a lot of people are going to die an he may get everyone into a war. 😔
