  1. I’m convinced he and his wife leading decided to get out of dodge! It’s done now. Can’t undo it. They don’t care. They don’t even hide it. Arrogance at it’s best.

    1. What a ‘REAL’ man would have said _’Okay honey, I’ll make the arrangements and get you girls and Mom to Cancun until this is over. I’m a Senator, I can’t just pick up and leave, I have to stay!’_

    2. @Ms. Byrd Let’s stress you said A Real Man! Ted Cruz is tRump incarnate! I would not even call him a human being! Real human beings have empathy for others suffering! Cruz has empathy for himself and his power and nothing else

    3. @Tina Beana I guess was thinking as “Arrogance” at its best is worst and “Arrogance” at its worst. But I get your point !

  2. where are we when we decide that the senator can go off on holiday bc it doesn’t make a difference his being around to suffer along with his constituents? who really would be okay with that except his toadies who are trying to put a good face on this?

  3. Good to hear your airports are open so the wealthy get out of dodge. They will make excuses for Cruz. It’s the lie until you die party!

  4. Mayor Sylvester Turner was a Senator, so he knows what to do. A Coward in Cruz, ran away. To Houston, lead, follow, or get out of the way. You have been through so much.

  5. I don’t see a problem. This is the most American thing ever. Like when you send your military to mess up a country and then bail out without having accomplished anything.

  6. So when things are tough in Texas and it is like a third or fourth world country, the tough go to Mexico for running water, electricity, and first world luxury.

  7. “Leaders stay on the ship.” Don’t expect leadership from Republicans. The ship they are on cruises to vacation resorts at taxpayer expense.

    1. Never expect men who love gun to stand up when the going gets tough, the gun is a crutch, an act, a cover for cowardness.

    2. For many years, the GOP has been demostrating it’s skill in governance.

With issues like Covid-19 and the power grid in Texas, I’m surprised we’ve heard nary a peep from Grover Norquist.

    1. And the sad part about it they will continue to elect these politicians who cares nothing about them only so stary with the party. How sad…

    2. @Rosalyn Jeffery They don’t even care about their own. I care about them more than they care about themselves. It’s a death cult.

  8. Ben Shapiro sounds like he has a serious helium problem.
Weird how they don’t believe in climate change while it is kicking them in the grid. I miss the old jet stream too.

  9. “if you don’t know what to do, just go door to door and check on people”
oh god, texans have been through enough, nobody deserves the trauma of seeing ted cruz on their doorstep on top of everything else

  10. As a senator you could also take your parvenue princess of a wife and bratty spoiled children on the road, using your car to deliver food, water and heaters to people that need them.
