    1. @LotsOfFun and the pay wasn’t good they advertised it as a good paying job but only offered a handful of hours to each employee so what’s the point of have a $16 an hour job when the only allow you to work 20 hours a week

    1. Democrats had a choice between using their majority in 2009 for Card Check (unions) or Obama Care and they went with the latter.

  1. I don’t go to Starbucks simply because of the CEO. Some may claim cancel culture, I call it consumer power.

  2. Also Starbucks allows grocery stores to have “Starbucks” in them, but those people DO NOT make $15 an hour

    1. They do in CA, WA & OR. For years, though, they didn’t offer same benefits & Safeway/Albertsons. Also didn’t honor Gift Cards because “we aren’t Starbucks” as I stood under the sign & ordered a VentiπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

    2. This corporate greed is perpetually ridiculous. It’s a coffee chain not some all important business. These rich people should thank their lucky stars for what they have and take care of their workers above and beyond

    1. Imagine being on the side of wealthy CEOs and against people trying to do the right thing and make an honest living.

  3. That interchange is perfectly exemplative of every interaction Ive ever had with a MAGA. They hear or read something from one of their preferred sources and immediately swallow it whole. Once thats done, NO amount of facts can change their mind.

    1. Ironically, Bernie wants to raise his own taxes and to help poor people with taxpayer money. The guy questioning Bernie was a Republican Senator who inherited tens of millions of dollars and wants to pay less in taxes while not helping poor people.

  4. Republicans: β€œIt is only okay to have a lot of money if you don’t want to help poor people and don’t want to raise your own taxes like us.”

    1. @LotsOfFun Where?? No no please explain your thought process here. Starbucks would try to hire ppl abroad?? If this was a tech job, I would understand, but this is Starbucks is it not?? How can they offshore these jobs?

    2. @LotsOfFun Also how are you defending union busting?? Isn’t it illegal to engage in union busting? Why are you in support of billionaires getting away with criminal activity?

    3. @LotsOfFun Too bad all your education didn’t help you learn that it is illegal to engage in criminal activities and morally reprehensible to support it on top of that

  5. If all politicians were like Bernie imagine how much better things would be … i love him to bits !

  6. You got to say these repubs have balls and like to use thrumps tactics of trying to deflect away from their misdoings to blaming other people of things.

  8. My friend worked in Buffalo Starbucks as a manager…. They forced him to work at multiple stores or leave. He tried but being forced to commute in your own vehicle with no compensation he left… He was supporting unionizing.

  9. First time I’ve heard much laughter because of a Senator’s comments. Go Bernie Sanders πŸ‘πŸ‘Œβ™₯️🀣

  10. We work for years just to have a $1million, while some people put thousands of dollars in some meme coins and they’re millionaires.
