  1. Putin sitting back laughing telling his officials, ” i still can’t believe those idiot’s went through with it!” Lmao

    1. Russia can now go back to planning the deaths of Americans. Plus keeping America’s most valuable player.

    2. in the middle of a proxy war with the US no less. Un-fckn-believable. This administration is single handedly trying to bring down the United States.

  2. Praying they get him out soon and thank God his family not angry about her getting to go home.God let him be next to come home

    1. @GreenEyedLady Reporters say that the deal wasn’t made for Whelan-Bout due “security concerns” related to releasing him (will direct you to source if needed). Sounds like a finger was lifted since they talked but the finger was put down due to how terrible this guy is. Then 4 years later we trade him for basketball player. Overconfidence will drown you in a sea of reality.

  3. I would’ve felt super ripped off trading a Merchant of Death card for WNBA card even as a 5th grader. What in the hell…

    1. @Lawrence Dieck He’s tainted goods, his weapon dealing days are done unless he’s really tired of living, and his customers don’t mind him being on some U.S. watch list.

    2. @Beef Chow Mein yeah I know it wasn’t kiddo, you have no clue what you’re talking about, you’re not even college-educated

    3. @Kawasaki Ed Are you serious, you can’t be that naive can you? So Russia went through all this trouble for used up arms dealer. Come on you got to have more common sense than that do you think Putin made this deal for nothing? You’ve been watching way too much TV try thinking for yourself and ask yourself why would Putin go through all this trouble? Try to apply a little bit of critical thinking

    4. @Phyllis Mahan my daughter wouldn’t be stupid enough to bring drugs into a country that banned them. My daughter wouldn’t hate America like she does. She got what she deserved my daughter wouldn’t be an idiot like she is an arrogant fool.

    1. The US wanted both Griner and Whelan but Russia refused to release Whelan because he’s accused of espionage.

    2. @75greenfish Well, they got an international arms dealer (terroristst). I would say setting Whelan free would be more than fair. Plus they could never prove that Wehlar is a spy.

    3. @75greenfish Yep. Your right. The people who are moaning and fussing just don’t care about the truth. They’re pissed that a 7 foot black lesbian was blessed to come home. Just hate is what this comes down to. I’m done letting it bother me. I’m glad Brittney G. Is home, and now I want marine Paul Whelan home. And every american being held in Russia..🇺🇸🙏🏽💯♥️💙💜

    4. @75greenfish so we traded one of the worlds most dangerous warlords for an anti-American POS with no future career in athletics? Does that really seem like a good trade off? A POS commi who couldn’t go one week without smoking pot in exchange for making the entire planet less safe? Leftism is brain AIDs. She knew it was illegal and did it anyways. I have no pity for her. Biden is now protecting criminals abroad.

As a normal person, if I traveled to Russia, I would not break there laws. I already have no rights there and know I would disappear if I wasnt already playing basketball on tv.

  4. What about Marc Fogel. Similar to Griners charges. He’s been sentenced to 14 yrs. He’s an older man in poor health and this is a death sentence. Please Google him. Nobody is even talking about him.

    1. and what happened to him? Fogel is currently in custody in Moscow by decision of the Khimki court. He is kept in a four-bed cell with a TV, his neighbors are accused of economic crimes. In our “barbaric” country, criminals are kept in cells with TVs, this is not the “democratic” American prison like Guantanamo, where people are tortured and killed in your “democracy” – hypocricy country.

    2. he was never part of negotiations because the U.S. hasnt declared Fogel to be wrongfully detained. While he doesnt belong in a jail in my opinion, especially not for 14 years, he did live in Russia and was familiar with their laws, and hid cannabis vape cartridges in shoes and contact lens cases- basically demonstrating that he knew he was smuggling weed illegally. Given those circumstances, the U.S doesnt believe that Russia is wrongfully detaining him

    3. @sleepy yes he lived and taught in 5 different countries. He did nothing more than Griner and he’s an American. The problem is that u r right that he is not part of the negotiations and ge should be.

    4. @Tee Martini I agree that he should be designated as wrongfully detained and should be brought back home. Not to be nitpicky, but his crime was slightly worse than Griners, because there is evidence that he intended to bring in the drugs and that he knew it was illegal. On the other hand, Brittney was in a rush while packing and forgot to unpack a dinky little weed vape pen out of her luggage. Fogel had around 17 grams, while Griner had less than one gram. Regardless though, marijuana shouldn’t be a crime and Fogel had the book thrown at him arbitrarily. I wish the U.S. would focus on bringing him home

  5. This called “exchange” is perplexing. Paul must be furious and extremely disappointed in US authorities who left him behind.

    1. Yeah, starting with Trump who was close friends with Putin yet did nothing to negotiate a deal to release Paul.

  6. Russia traded her for an arms dealer during a time when they’re struggling with arming their troops. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. But I can’t blame the US for making this swap either. I don’t think a prisoner swap is ever going to be a win-win for us. There’s a reason the other country wants that person back and there’s a reason we needed more incentive to return them.

  7. Dude needs to not only travel abroad but should never come out in the public. This is a utter disgrace to those that serves the country and those that are locked up for similar offenses.

    1. You may not have noticed, but about 2 months ago Biden pardoned anyone in federal prison for a non-violent conviction for simple possession of marijuana. At the same time, he directed his Cabinet director of HHS to go about changing the federal clarification to remove pot from being classified the same as heroin or coke. Biden also asked the states to pardon any state convictions for the same, but he can’t order the states to do so.

Your assertion would seem a lot more valid if the people in question weren’t a multiple Olympic gold medal winner for the US versus someone who was court marshalled and convicted of larceny, and dishonorably discharged from the US military.

    2. @GreenEyedLady hold on I can fix that last part for you. The people in question are an Anti American radical political activist celebrity versus an international educator who teaches children abroad. Two can play at that game buddy😂

    1. Yeah the problem is she hates America disrespects America so you’re telling me that you hate America too?

    2. @Zyrock Daddy Not standing for the national anthem doesn’t mean the person hates America. That’s dumb. They’re simply exercising their 1A right to free speech and expression as an act of protest. Stop talking like a boneheaded fool.

  8. The Flying Dutchman: “OK Krabs, I’ll let you stay. But first, help me settle a bet. If you had to choose between Spongebob and all the money I have in my pocket, which would you take?”
Mr. Krabs: “That depends. How much money we talking about?”
    SpongeBob: “Mr Krabs?”
    The Flying Dutchman: “62 cents.”
Mr. Krabs: “I’ll take the money.”

  9. Hey there’s a whole bunch of folks being held captive in Idaho jails for the same thing. Maybe we should get them out too.

    1. Can you please read the news before posting things? Biden pardoned every cannabis user, past or present.. So if they’re still in jail, it’s not for cannabis only.

    2. @Kreegrr Anyway you’re talking about federal prison. Not state prisons. Biden didn’t release anyone in state prisons with state mandated sentencing.

    3. How much money do those people make for these huge companies? Imagine how much more attention she will get now…

Russia will surely get another prisoner for Whelan.

  10. It’s important for veterans to understand that my father was a veteran. He fought bravely for his country like so many other Black American’s but it wasn’t a “cake walk” he lost rank because he refused to be a driver for a white officer, he wanted to learn a skill. He was challenged to a fist fight by an officer and when his opponent lost he got my dad busted. My father was made to train younger airmen with more rank then himself. He paid the price along with all the other Black American men and women who paved the way for the Civil Rights movement in civilian society. Truman issued an order and Eisenhower insisted that the Armed Services be integrated. History is important. So the release of Ms. Brittany Griner is something they would have stood for and fought for. She’s an American and should be released as should all American’s held in captivity. Don’t let Putin manipulate and divide us. The United States of America 🇺🇸 can be better than this. Thank you, Lord for Ms. Brittany’s release. Thank you, President Joe Biden 💙 for agreeing to the swap, and thanks to everyone who have supported her, and those public servants who made it a reality. We encourage the families who are still waiting to keep the faith and never give up, we’re praying with you. “There is always hope.”
    Happy Holidays and Merry 🎄 Christmas! Let’s be thankful. 🕊 🕊 🕊

“We may have come to. America in different boats, but we’re all in the same boat now.”
~ Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

    1. She should have stayed. We traded one of the world’s most dangerous arms dealers for that anti-American POS who couldn’t go 1 week without a joint. I never want to hear the words gun control from the left ever again.

    2. She is home, because she is a black lesbian, that fits the woke liberal Biden circus! If she was a white woman she would still be in Russia. Lets say they got the white male Marine home and left grinner in Russia, you’d all be calling racism! Putin is laughing at Biden and America, like the rest of the world is!

    1. @Big Snacks because y’all were too focused on getting a basketball player home than an actual American hero

  11. I have said this before and I will say it again: People like Brittney Griner are precisely why sports need to be taken out of public schools, due to her status as an athlete she got a free pass all through high school, college and life in general due to her status. It is time to eliminate sports and extracurriculars from public schools and use that money to give teachers the pay they deserve, give students free meals regardless of income and school supplies for students that cannot afford them!!

    1. Who cares what you’ve said before and god help everybody who ever hears you say it again. People like you always sharing their sore apples are why the rest of us must do with less. Stop blaming austerity politics on right wing targets de jour.

    2. Don’t you have a free meals in the public schools in America???? and bad salaries for teachers? but here, in our “totalitarian barbarian” country Russia, in public schools, children are fed hot food free meals twice a day, and they are given free textbooks by “dictatorship” Russian power. But we don’t have a democracy🤭. how to live without American “democracy” in Russia🤭🤣🤣🤣. I never thought that I would laugh at America. thanks Biden, he is the best Russian agent🤭

    1. @Nuka  that’s their only response to everything, a war criminal traded for a wnba player while the country he’s from is currently involved in a war that we’re funding. just doesn’t make any sense but they really don’t care about what makes sense and what doesn’t at this point

    2. @Terry R sad thing is a woman got shot and killed by a cop there. you just didn’t hear about ti cause they didn’t care it was a trump victim ( which is messed up) think about it how can they call it deadly event yet NEVER reference a death. the fact u didnt know is proof but they will recite the names of other victims shot by cops year after year
      . they played you bud

  12. My father always used to say, “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.” She should NOT be home since she broke Russian law, she should have served her time there. As an outspoken un-patriotic American, she should not have gotten clemency.

    1. I agree with you! Everyone who has a passport is warned that the US may not be able to help you if drugs are involved.
An arms dealer was kicked loose because this woman chose to get high in Russia…. A country looking for legitimate reasons to arrest US citizens of “social importance” in order to trade.

  13. Yes Britney coming back is awesome but justifying the release of that Russian arms dealer is ridiculous. The audacity to down play and laugh at people who think it’s wrong is baffling. This administration keeps showing weakness.
