  1. There needs to be a national quarantine now. Let’s not drag this thing out for another year trying to avoid the inevitable.

    1. bobmatzke Exactly! It’s criminal that Trump is insisting on business as usual. He wants us to die!

    2. bobmatzke most in NM don’t have to work due to walfare system but I have to work at a job that won’t close over this unfortunately

    3. @alex martineau Democrats? Really? Our REPUBLICAN president is recommending people to go to work and wants packed churches on easter. He is not taking this seriously at all. Gov MLG in this video is a Dem and she took quick action as soon as we got our first confirmed case.

We arent the ones not complying, a lot of Republican senators just came into contact with Rand Paul because they didn’t self quarantine. The virus is spreading in the US because most of our Republican leaders are treating this like a joke and their followers follow them blindly without even a question.

    4. @alex martineau Wow, talk about trying to spin the facts 180 degrees. Everyone knows the cons are wanting to end the quarantine and they’re also defying social distancing norms.

  2. She’s doing great job here in NM. Pulled kids out of school right away and has offered free breakfast and lunch meals for kids using drive up at local schools.

    1. I agree, great job. I am an out of work, self employed barber. This is gonna hurt financially but it is the right thing to do !

    2. @DLop Look at the responses of other governors. She is leading very well from communication to collaboration with the President.

    3. FREE! FREE! FREE! Michelle………
NOTHING is free! One way or another, hard working New Mexicans will have to open their wallets!

  3. Testing must be free of charge. That is why South Korea was able to flatten the curve. Easy access to the testing!

    1. @amagictouch actually your wrong, I have many friends in rural areas (luckily my state of kansas doesn’t have the rates other do so far) who don’t have access to a doctor or a hospital within 50 miles, let alone a ventilator. Sorry, covid-19 is spreading across the country and that includes rural areas.

    2. That’s cool. I’m actually in vail Co. A. Hot spot and my Nieghbor is a registered nurse she’s pretty much payed off because the ski slopes closed and no one needs any help
      Lol

    3. Taiwan did far better than South Korea. They were the first to ban teavelers from Wuhan, secured facemask, desinfectan and thermometers for their citizens, monitored travelers and of course they also did free tests.

    4. the disease was the joker. They were playing with us. Biological warfare began to become a greater fear.

    1. Yeah maybe wait until the virus stops spreading. But thanks any other time we are happy to have you

    2. Maybe u might wanna wait till the virus is calm an make Shure u ain’t infected before stopping by πŸ˜‚

    3. Come visit! (when everything is under control of course). New Mexico landscape and the people are so diverse. It’s a state steeped rich in Native American and Spanish traditions. You could live here all your life and still never see anything.

  4. If anyone will get us through this pandemic it will be the governor’s not the President. Thank you for keeping us safe from the Federal government right now. We have an Evil madman running the country.

    1. I find it hilarious how each side sees each other as exactly the same. As sheep and strawman slogan slinging idiots. Can we all agree that anyone who gets their main news from either MSNBC or FOX is living in a bubble? Haha probably not. All the ones here defending and sucking on MSNBC’s teat clearly not, and all the FOX is the only real news people are the same.
Wake up everyone and start using your critical thinking skills again. If you arent questioning your own bias and just slinging insults at each other then take a good look in the mirror. Most media is highly slanted and you have to wade through a ton to get to any truth. Or don’t, keep living in your bubble of hate and thinking the other side is all ignorant demons. Hopefully enough people are waking up from such propoganda and learning how to talk again though.

    2. Very true and well said Suzanne. What kind of person would support the autocrat we have in the white house?

  5. The real challenge is yet to come, America’s private medical institutions was put to the test by the coronavirus ,and guess what we found out? It ain’t that GREAT by all means.

    1. @Calvin Hodge Lake Yest it was, this is why trumpo, is willing to open the government up, he doesn’t care about the deaths all he care is about the money, he is the epitome of capitalist.

    2. @Lucky …military will come out to put down a revolt or a mass civil disobedience… haven’t you read any history?…

    3. @Calvin Hodge Lake Unlike China’s health care right? Oh wait they also failed miserable and their government is selling overpriced vegetables to its own people.

What about Italy universal health care? That must be doing great right? Oh wait…

    4. @Lucky
Governor Grisham said they are utitlizing National Guard personnel in the fight against Covid9.

    1. TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE: Confirmed Cases DO NOT MEAN That this has not been spreading All the way Three Months Ago When THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE EARLIER. It Just means that NOW it has started to Manifest.. Plus for Every Confirmed Cases There Are Probably Upwards of Three To Ten People Infected. In One Contact Tracing Where I Am From One Person Contacted At Least Sixty Six (66) Other Persons.

    2. @Freddie Stranger
Way too little and way too late from Duhnull Dumpf even though he was briefed back in January.
Yet he called it a hoax.
Wonder if he dumped some stocks thatl were going to go bust and bought stocks that would go up for pennies on the dollar.

  6. I’m so very proud of my governor! She’s being smart and putting measures in place BEFORE the virus hits NM hard.

  7. New Mexico – Great State. Love New Mexico. Fantastic Governor. Quick, decisive, great work. Thank you MLG.

    1. @TylerScotPK OMG. That is a terrible thing to say to someone….(that they sound like Donny)….I was being complimentary ….the quick action taken has saved lives, no doubt and I like this Governor for doing the needful, on time.

  8. New Mexico and their governor should be the template for other states to defeat Covid-19… Great job !!! πŸ’―πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œ

    1. @guppy guppy You are to be commended for your due diligence then… but don’t forget to take care of number one…. and that is you !! πŸ’―β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ’žπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œ

    2. Chad Young also Ohioan, looks like it’ll extend quite a lot past the 6th at this point, but we’re doing a very good job from what I’ve seen personally and heard on the news

    3. @Cygnus X-420 Yes sometimes you got to do what you got to do !!…it’s actually good training anyway …people nowadays think they have to go everywhere all the time and that’s why we have this coronavirus in the first place because of people flying on airplanes all around the globe !!

    4. Lazio Morphine or what’s happening in Florida…looks like Ohio is one of 9 states that should be (relatively) impacted little compared to some places

  9. NM is luck to have a knowledgeable governess. She seems to be a real take charge woman, the kind of person you want in a crisis like we have now.

    1. Oh please! She’s not a governess, she is a governor. She is at the same level (or higher due to her competence) than any male governor in the country. You don’t have to put her in a separate category because she is a woman.

  10. Not a NM resident but have been living in the state for a while and overall I’m impressed with the response here. Not exactly the most glamorous or rich state but at least they know how to react. Props to the government here.

    1. @howdyusa new Mexico is 3rd in the nation per capita for testing. And one of the more aggressive states regarding public health orders. Not being a major port such as NYC obviously helps, but dont pretend the response hasn’t been fantastic here.

    2. @Michael Klein this is true. Ill meet you halfway. Battle isn’t over yet. Guess all we can do is trust the process. Help where we can and hope for the best

    1. I felt very lucky today listening to her as a resident of this Sector. New Mexico might have been poor and under-regulated as a sanctuary state? But today? We are a beacon of hope and limitless funds. Hoping we can get this under control. We need curbside service at the grocery store. That would help tremendously. Walmart is doing it. The other stores should implement this asap.
