For those who care, scientists are saying that pets – dogs and cats – do not seem to be vulnerable to coronavirus. Obviously not our first concern when people are at risk, but our furry friends should be ok. 🐶😼

As with EVERYONE else, you need to be tested if you have been within six feet of anyone who tests positive for COVID19 whether either of you have any symptoms.

!!!People are trying to underplay pregnancy issue to suppress fear. There are way way more than 9 pregnant women in China that are infected and have given birth, the paper public beginning of March (likely submitted way earlier than that) that everyone refers to only followed 9 cases. All 9 cases are pregnant women in 3rd trimester, they all had some sort of pneumonia fetus distress and underwent Cesarean delivery (C-section), i.e. complication in delivery, which itself is dangerous. However, there are 2 infants born in Wuhan China (test positive under 30 hours & 17 days after birth) were infected with corona virus, which no one talks about, and it is unclear if they were vertically transmitted. This is on Chinese news with doctors presenting warnings to people. Thus, with the small cases and only on 3rd trimester from this paper, NO ONE should conclude the risk is low. Infected pregnancy women will have to isolate after giving birth, which also means you cannot breastfeed. In addition, previous studies have shown that SARS during pregnancy is associated with a high incidence of adverse maternal and neonatal complications, such as spontaneous miscarriage, preterm delivery, intrauterine growth restriction, application of endotracheal intubation, admission to the intensive care unit, renal failure, and disseminated intravascular coagulopathy.

Tania John data would be to early to show that, but at least from drug usage you will be less limited up till 7-8 weeks pregnant, I think, check with your doctor.
I feel like I’m being punished for staying home. My job is non essential and hours have been cut due to less demand. Being type 1 diabetic and pregnant, I asked my boss to lay me off. There was no mercy, they said no without thinking. I’m going to be broke now. I curse my employer.

Early pregnancy is when you need to be extremely careful. Being pregnant in general you must be careful.
What this big doctor forgot to mention is that pregnant women have a suppressed immune system due to their condition. And this is a KNOWN fact! And if anyone has a suppressed immune systeme obviously they would be more susceptible to infection. So yes women are indeed are part of the vulnerable risk group.
They national health board, with information from China, said that immune suppression is actually a good thing because the over response of the immune system is what kills because the proteins slice through lung tissue. So an underveloped immune system is probably why the pregnant women and children and infant are safe.
Im in my second trimester 18th week. Hope this is just normal flu and not corona. 🙁
