Anyone here old enough to remember the LSD they called Sunshine? I took it about a year after returning from Vietnam and it helped me deal with my nightmares in life more positively than any therapy alone could do.
I remember orange sunshine lsd in the 80s. Never took it, but remember hearing about it.
It was just one of many “brand” names. All LSD. Likely purer quality. Pharmaceutical stuff was still around back then.

Psychedelics saved my life. I lost two of the people that I loved the most due to the events of 9/11 and I suffered a major head injury a few years prior to that and was still struggling. I was an agoraphobic wreck in 2002 when an old friend randomly stopped by and gave me some mushrooms. If he hadn’t done so, I would not be typing this right now. I was able to return to a “normal” life almost instantly, requiring just one solid experience every 3 months or so. Sadly, because of the absurd laws in this country, there are many times when I am unable to safely gain access to these medicines and I regress back into agonizing depression, paranoid anxiety, loss of appetite and weight, brutal migraines, insomnia, nightmares, etc. We need to stop the nonsense surrounding these medicines. They are one of the few “street drugs” that have virtually no potential for overdose or addiction, not even psychologically because for most people, following an experience, they are the last thing you want to do. You just want to live and for the hopelessly depressed and despondent, that can be like a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean. It still takes effort to survive, but these medicines give us a fighting chance.
