I’d argue, he’s the poster boy for why term limits in built in to every “term” they serve. The need to be reelected usually keeps the Representative or Senate member working for their state. When the voters no longer feel they are being adequately represented, they vote him out. He will likely lose his next election and the people will replace him. Term limits is the proverbial trophy for those who would normally lose. They make up new rules to take out the winner…;)

He lost whatever credibility he had with those in the Hawkeye state.
