Why Shifting Racial Demographics Alone Won’t Weaken GOP Strongholds

The phenomenon of voters of color increasing in Republican strongholds is analyzed by politics expert Fernand Amandi, who tells Tiffany Cross that shifting racial demographics alone will not increase Democrats’ influence nationwide.

  1. Good thing we have the GQP stupidity and current self-destruction to help ensure their losing again then! 😅😂

    1. Both the Republicans and the Democrats are made by the white supremacists. Let they both go lost. BLM will be the only party in the USA

    2. @Aedammair Ornóra – I’ve said this a number of times to conservatives. Your side is gaining on the issue of race, not because you are right (most often you are wrong), but that the liberals are catching up to your level of insanity on the subject.

Race and immigration is where conservatives have an opportunity to prove you are better…by being better. It’s up to you. (Everything else, yeah, you guys are bad at, and liberals are better).

      Good luck 🍀

  2. Changing demographics don’t really mean much politically for democrats when good amounts of hispanics, east indians and others identify as yt and were just as racist in their home countries as the republicans are here…

    1. Changing demographics are much more than just immigrants. First of all you have new young voters coming on each year, and they are overwhelmingly democratic. Secondly, you have the aging population dying more each year now, and they are tilted to the republicans. And thirdly, you have the significant retirement wave moving as per the latest census. And they are moving for the northeast and CA. Ad they are moving to sun belt states mostly. This retirement wave or cost of living moves are from predominately democratic states. Just because these retirees move, it seems unlikely that they will change their political views. Given these type of changing demographic factors, it would not be surprising to see some of the sun belt states like TX, AZ, and FL turn into blue states in the relatively near future.

    2. @Corey Ham two things

      1. This segment was about the yt right saying non yt folks are replacing them. That’s why I focused on race and ethnicity

      2. Young and old together, the majority of yt people vote republican. Age doesn’t make much of a difference for the overall numbers

  3. If Democrats can turn to socialism than Republicans can go from moderate to conservative….liberal media is so hypocritical.

    1. You must be referring to the GOP which is that party of corporate socialism and corporate welfare. The GOP lies about being anti-socialist, it is just that they want corporate socialism instead of individual socialism.

    1. @Bat Boy You are not answering my question. You mentioned demographics. But that doesn’t mean every Latino would be a democrat.

    2. @MRJTV – you mean your absolutist “why does everyone..” question? Um, you are wrong. Your premise is wrong. Try posing a real question.

Edit: Let me try to mind read you. Um…let’s see.

Q: “Why do people think that all non-whites are Democrats?”

A: Some people, not all, might make this generalized assumption, based on demographic data of support for either political side. The Republicans are mainly supported by whites. And the Democrats are mainly supported by both whites and non-whites.

This is easy to see, from how each side panders to these racial demographics.

  4. Tuckems is right from a certain point of view when talking about third world voters because in his miniscule world whatever brain he has left has to be off planet in which the entire Earth is inhabited by third world countries because he does not have a world other than depravity and racism.

  5. Fear sadly is a bigger driver than optimism. BTW – if you come to a Democratic Party meeting there are few minorities. We are under no delusion that they are all Dems.

    1. Give representation to the territories also… they pay taxes and have ridiculous tariffs. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself during this pandemic and social crisis

    2. You should read about DC to know why it can never be one. It’s supposed to remain as politically neutral to be the capital.

  6. Reform of the Republican Party starts with Fox News Who reported Antifa was the cause of the violence at the January 6 Insurrection at the Capitol. Fox News is the main platform of the Republican Party spreading conspiacies, lies, and disinformation for years before Trump. Fox news pushed the Trumps Big Election Lie and is being sued by Dominion and Smartmatic for defamation for false reporting of those companies.

  7. The GOP are already doing a great job of weakening themselves, but chopping their party in half.

  8. Hey Joe, why has your son bought into this pipeline for the last 3 years? Is that why you cancelled the XL pipeline? It would be a real shame if he was sub-leasing it to China…..

  9. How about those who are disenfranchised petition boundaries directly instead of asking permission!!

  10. Biggest problem of the US?
They see the world as: ME. And enemies who want to hurt me because I’m so awesome and have the perfect life.
That’s the main issue here. Good luck fixing that.
