This is a matter of principle on which Europe is founded, and Putin doesn’t respect it, constantly threatening with major escalation for months, because he is in a position of weakness. If we don’t stand by our principles, Putin will attack again. If we cannot fight back such inhumanity, then I don’t see the point of NATO, or Europe. And let this be a lesson for us and strive to intervene sooner, and perhaps start helping people like the Syrians.
