I wish Mr. Scott much success. Baltimore has had these problems a loooong time which is why I left 15 years ago. The problem is poverty. Single moms working two jobs while the kids run wild. Fix wage inequality. Fix the schools in poor neighborhoods. Fund after school programs. Tax the rich. Ban guns.
Banning guns have shown no improvement in gun violence, everything else I can agree with you though.
That is a fact. Keep pushing for better. Maryland is a beautiful state. Hopefully, things will turn around.

Technically, there is no such thing. What’s called an assault weapon (or sometimes an assault rifle) in reports on gun violence is a semi-automatic rifle that looks similar to the assault rifles used by the military.
I suspect it could be the AR nomenclature that confuses some people. Maybe they think it stands for Assault Rifle, perhaps?
