  1. This is the best explanation with clear examples I’ve heard so far. That is why ideally Justice should be blind and impartial, but unfortunately in real life that is not always the case.

    1. @ L T.
Ever notice The entire Democrat party talks about race and racism and racists every day seven days a week 24 hours a day year after year.

I’ve learned over my life people that scream “racism” continuously are the biggest racist in the world.
After all, the Democrat party held all the slaves during the Civil War, the Democrat party founded the KKK, and the Democratic Party is the party of Jim Crowe and segregation.

Even recently the Virginia democrat governor who still has NOT resigned, after he was caught with his black-face KKK garb in his high school yearbook. And the Democrats are NOT calling for him to step down. As a former Democrat myself I left the racist democrat party. This is a racist evil divisive party. Republicans never talk about race or racism.
Because Republicans are NOT racist. We prove it daily…
Stop the racist democrats in 2020…
Vote straight Republican in 2020 and reelect Donald Trump

    2. @Kiba Jean *”Other races being more prone to being arrested”* may have something to do with the recorded stats that happen to show that certain groups of people commit disproportionately more crimes.
Can you, please, point me to the stats that show that first-time offenders are discriminated against based on the color of their skin? As far as I know, other factors such as criminal history, outstanding warrants, interaction with police, or violation of parole terms are also factored in upon sentencing.

    3. @Dorian Shades of gray exactly. But to pander to the blacks in the room she made it about race. It’s time white people call these people out for the lies they spread. That white woman should have told her how wrong her little comparison really was we must all do this if we ever want to see this race hustling bullshit ever end.

    1. @Chris Perry Only those of authority and in power can initiate systemic racism. Caucasians who may benefit from it are not at fault and shouldn’t feel guilty for a flaw of our country. And people of color should take the time to understand what systemic racism truly is. Point being we have to come together to put an end to it.

    2. @Kman8962 I agree sir. But at the end of the day I feel it’s more of an economic insecurities issue than a I hate you issue. They use us for wealth which somehow translates to power. Yes some actually do hate for whatever reason. I feel that nobody is born or taught to hate so it’s not a natural thing to do. Anybody seeing a dog stuck in a fence usually feels the need to help. It takes effort to hate and rich old asses don’t work that hard. Just because you have money makes you no judge of anything. I applaud you for your intelligence and grace for not blaming all whites for your trouble. I might not be so forgiving. Nobody should be slighted for their natural self. And I don’t blame them if they held a grudge. Sometimes I still feel cheated by the system even though I’m white. They rig the system against everyone. Even their rich friends. Kudos to you sir.

    3. @Chris Perry I agree with you indeed. Not all racism stems from hatred. I do believe as you that systemic racism is geared more towards power and control. I wish it were said more often but the majority of our white brothers and sisters do not benefit from this any more than folks of color. It’s a true problem for us all. Not just as Americans but as people.
Thank you for being willing to have this conversation. It is truly refreshing to find that on today’s social media. The subject isn’t the most comfortable but it is necessary to have. It’s the only way we’ll be able to come together and upend this unjust system. We all deserve better.

    4. @Kman8962 it stunts true output and new ideas. They can’t understand that if we all had just a little more money, everyone would benefit. When my neighbor does better, I do as well. All hope is not lost. Each generation builds in new ways. I see it at work. Some of the young people do get it and act on it. We need to tell them the history behind how well they act so they know to keep on doing good. Thanks to you as well. A discussion is far better than a rant. Which is usually what happens here.

    1. Can’t you people see she just described rich privilege, not white privilege. Can you imagine Obama’s daughters ever getting arrested for drug charges on the street… No! Because they live in rich areas, they present a privileged images of themselves with their clothing hair etc. can you really say a poor white girl has white privilege more so than Obama’s daughter have privilege?

    2. Can you, please, point me to the stats that show that first-time offenders are discriminated based on the color of their skin? As far as I know, other factors such as criminal history, outstanding warrants, interaction with police, or violation of parole terms are also factored in upon sentencing.

    1. Tucker Carlson she was asked a question about race… Was she supposed to decline to answer the question.
Also it was a white person asking a racial question to another white person. So your entire comment is invalid

    2. Dorian Shades of gray almost 4 years later and people are still Obsessed with the Obamas. Anytime a fact is thrown out that can’t be contested. The answer is always Obama

    3. Ray Han 😂🤣I love dumb Trumpterds!!! Y’all are the funniest people on you tube. Love your comments!!! Keep em coming

    4. @Steve 317 I could have quite easily have used Ben Carson’s kids as an example if you want an example of a rich black Republicans kids.

    5. T Digg

We already are and have been forever a minority on the world stsge.

Yet somehow we ruled it all.

Almost like we’re superior or something.

Don’t worry. We’ll still care for and feed y’all.

  2. I’ve been pretty cynical about Senator Gillibrand’s candidacy, but DAMN that was good. She could not have answered that better.

    1. Anthony Browne The day a white personal gets elected into power in Mexico or Kenya we can talk white privileged

  3. I liked her the moment I first heard her speak on Rachel Maddow. Very smart lady with her heart in the right place. She won’t get the nomination but she definitely stood out to me.

    1. @Maximilien Charles awww, little girl hates black people. It’s ok, just hit me back when you’re off your monthly

    1. @You’re Beautiful Sergei?…oh, you mean that russian hoax you idiots keep dreaming about…how’s that working out for you dumbass?

    2. Dan yeah she fucked up at the debate and called the Koch brothers and people that really run America. She will be silenced

    3. Crazy Horse numerous Trump Criminal Organization members were indicted or locked up. I think it worked great!!! Maybe more indictments to come

  4. That just might be the first time I have seen a politician answer a question. With an answer that relates to the question.

    1. No, it’s White privilege. Black rich kids are targeted as well because of their Black skin. It is the skin color that determines how you are treated, not your wealth. Also, when you walk down the street as a Black person, nobody knows what your socioeconomic status is. People just see a Black person, and all negative stereotypes associated with Blacks will be applicable to that Black person walking down the street.

    2. sure, sure… but WHY did cnn edit that video from the Rose garden?
WHY didn’t they publish the FULL video?
Is cnn… *_afraid of the truth?_*

    3. damien Smith

And why is that? Why might people assume a black man might be crimally inclined?

If blue dogs made up %15 of all the dogs you see and half of them bit you.

Ya might get the idea that blue dogs bite.

      Get it?

    1. Obama used to say it in almost every townhall and every chance he was asked …its not that difficult to understand, unless people dont want to understand it.
It makes sense to most of us sane and aware and Informed individuals ,but I bet 100 bucks that that person the asked that question went home still complaining about it and not understanding the answer in the same way we did . 🤷‍♂️

    2. She just described rich privilege. Don’t you think a poor white girl would trade her white privilege for the privilege someone like Obama’s daughters have

    3. @jlbueno0611 right. So the condition of Baltimore, Chicago, and Illinois…..whiteys fault.
Vermont must be a powder keg of racism..

  5. Now that is how you answer a delicate question as this, honest pay almost all the time. I believed majority of the audience were white

    1. CNN Cuts Off Black Trump Supporter During Answer on ‘White Guilt’ Question
White Americans that feel guilty for what their ancestors did, you know, this and that, and the thing about it is, they shouldn’t have to feel guilty, this is America
      CNN cut him off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8n11zrxzdaA

    1. She still gets absolutely NOTHING DONE for the State of New York.. Brilliant response though

    2. +Toni Anne…You’re an idiot…Gillibrand is just another con artist. Pandering to the black community and will tell them any ridiculous bullshit they want to hear..Just like your gal, Hitlery Clinton. The woman who called black people “Super-Predators” (vid here on YT)

    3. @llort
No they aren’t, THE REAL TERRORISTS ARE THE WHITE DOMESTIC MASS MURDERERS WHO SHOOTS UP SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, CONCERTS, MOVIE THEATERS, HOSPITALS, SYNAGOGUES AND MANY MORE PUBLIC PLACES.💯
