A fellow officer captured the moment a Peel Regional Police officer took on the delicate job of helping a skunk that got its head stuck in a fast food cup.

A video shared on social media shows the officer as he frees the animal

  1. Wow…. put all officer aside and didnt even call for back up ,? What planet was this on ?

    1. I don’t think the skunk was scared.
      Maybe a little pissed off that some thief stole his Mcflurry.
      He’s actually running back to get another one.

  2. Thank you to this policeman for taking the time out to help precious innocent animals. You’re a hero in more ways than one.

  3. I did the same thing with my grandchildren around me watching. I put on gloves got close enough to hold him down and pulled the cup off and ran, hoping I didn’t get sprayed. I was lucky as well.

  4. A tough situation that could have really stinked , stank, stunk. Glad it worked out well for all involved. lol
