    1. @Cody
      lol 161? really?

🤣 That’s not enough to cover up that 141 countries that ridiculed china at the UN, because of Ambassador Zhang Jun’s self-incrimination of the People’s Republic of China.

    2. Xi has shown his true color. Unbecoming of a leader!! He must be mad that Biden made him Sit for 3 hours. While his friend Poo tin is losing in Ukraine, he can’t go invade Tiawan. So picked on a Smaller nation to score some brownie points across the far Right world of dictatorship worshiping world of dumpty trumpty types across the globe, especially the BRICS – funny how Indians hate China yet their Modiite media hates Trudeau and Biden also!!

    1. Maybe CNN should talk about how bad Joe has committed treason time and time again and lied about it on TV

    2. There are such things like attorney-clients privilege and doctor-patient privilege.
Now we are talking about head of Government having a private conversation and Justin leak it to the press. HOW Naive of Him. 🤔

    1. It’s interesting how CNN will edit and trim down what president Xi says even for a 30-second dialogue. Wonder how much of this editing it does on a daily basis?

  1. Doesn’t matter what the private conversation was about, Trudeau need to understand what to keep private and what not to… Consequences are unpredictable!

    1. GemCami: the point is simple, while in negotiations you don’t announce details on any dealings in anything. When the deal is made THEN talk to reporters. Everyone knows this.

    2. @GemCami I agree. I also believe in honesty. If you don’t intend to keep confidence, say so, up front. Pretending that a meeting is confidential, and then spilling everything to the media, isn’t primarily openness; it’s primarily lying, which is the opposite of openness. There’s also the matter of timing and procedure. Releasing “information” before there’s anything real to report is comical, and releasing it in the form of leaks is improper. The content should have substance, the form should be a transcript, with mutual agreement on the translation, and the practice should be consistent. That has to do with preventing the thing that Trudeau seems incapable of not doing prolifically: lying.

  2. Xi was mad what was leaked was misrepresented “that’s not how the conversation was conducted”. That would make more sense as to why Xi was so mad and why Trudeau was so shippish

  3. When you leak a conversation you only leak the parts that make you sound good, if he’s open like he said then why not have all his conversation in public, let’s see how that goes for him.

    1. Dictators will run this world in near future. I have no doubt about it and next generation will be fighting for the rights.

    2. @Jar of Mikeys just logic, not sure what your point is now. I think your circular argumentative type to get your non points across, am I right?

  4. *This is a translation of what president Xi Jinping said to Trudeau “it’s NOT acceptable to leak our previous confidential discussion to the press. That’s not the way relationship and conversation should be conducted”.*
*President Xi also caution Trudeau; “If you don’t respect protocol, the outcome will be unwelcome. Let’s create an atmosphere of sincerity first before we talk”.*

    1. Xi accused Trudeau for fabricating the details of the private meet, and that’s not how the meeting was conducted.

    1. Xi has LOST. Biden gave him dressing down. His friend Poo tin is losing . Xi had to score some points by making Trudeau a scapegoat !!

    2. @Kyle 本來就是嘛,在別人的眼皮子底下玩花樣搞小動作怎麼可能成熟?是誰先透露私人談話並造謠的呢?
      就因為是CPC就得一切受你們擺佈?You are truly naive.😂😂

    3. Ying yang yong ching chang: You must be living in democracy country and enjoying the freedom and standing against its leader. Once the world run by dictators, let’s see how much your children’s gonna appreciate your efforts on demolishing freedom.

  5. What Xi said is ” Everything in our conversation is leaked to the media, that is not appropriate, moreover, IT(THE LEAKED INFO) IS NOT IN ACCORDENCE WITH WHAT REALLY HAPPENED”, basically He is saying Trudeau’s side is not respectful to the confidential nature of diplomacy and lied to media
He said “而且我们也不是那样进行的” that a polite way to say you lied, but the translator didn’t express it

  6. CNN,why did you delibrately cut the part where Trudeau interrupted the translator and started to talk irrelevant stuff ?

  7. Diplomatic conversations at summit level is done as closed door meetings. Initial statement by both leaders are made public even to the media live but then the media is asked to free the room. Closed door discussions shouldn’t be made public by any party and that is unethical as well as against all diplomatic norms. If that happens, that leader looses trust by all world leaders. This is not a good practice. Trudeau is not a strong and confident leader and therefore, he did so to show that he is strong and tough against China in order to win his vote bank at home. Similarly he is weak against anti-Indian Khalistani terrorists in Canada because of Sikh vote bank.

  8. The Canadian Prime Minister is a person who lacks integrity and basic principles. But this man is still talking about free development, shameless guy.

  9. There are such things like attorney-clients privilege and doctor-patient privilege.
Now we are talking about head of Government having a private conversation and Justin leak it to the press. HOW Naive of Him. 🤔

  10. 1. The two talked for 10 minutes, deducted the speeches and translations of both parties, and explained 4 topics in 2.5 minutes, and then turned around and revealed them to the media.
    2. The actual chat is inconsistent with the media reports (Trudeau team adds fuel and vinegar,This is why Xi is dissatisfied)
