Cuban authorities work to extinguish massive fire at oil facility | USA TODAY

At least one person is dead and dozens have been injured after a lightning strike during a storm sparked a massive fire at an oil facility in Cuba.

Firefighters and other specialists tried to quell the blaze at the Matanzas Supertanker Base, where the fire began during a thunderstorm Friday night, the Ministry of Energy and Mines tweeted. About 800 people were evacuated from the Dubrocq neighborhood closest to the fire.
