Dominica has been sending students to Cuba to be trained in various fields for the past thirty-nine years.
Nine students will pursue medicine while two will pursue health technology, and one each will study civil engineering, biotechnology and mechanical engineering.

Fidel Castro dies aged 90

 

Cuba's former president Fidel Castro has died aged 90. His brother, Raul Castro, announce the news on state television.

Castro defied the power of 10 US presidents during his half-centruy rule, and he claimed to have survived 634 attempts or plots to assinate him, mainly masterminded by the CIA.
