Most people don’t know what legally constitutes sexual harassment and sexual assault – we can’t even agree on common social definitions. Just what the Governor’s political enemies ordered for their trial by public opinion.
Lots of people DO, but probably only under the laws of their own state. Lots of people here THINK they do, but most of them don’t. (Like the idea that it’s only harassment if it’s happened multiple times *to the same person*. WTF??? Maybe some staes are that benighted, but not NY.) It isn’t difficult to find out — 10 minutes on Google will get any semi-competent person all the information they need to know about the letter of the law. What’s at issue is whether the described behaviour meets the definition in law, and whether the accusers are believed. The latter is the sticking point, because some people refuse to believe women, even when they have corroborating testimony.

@Ally M FYI, direct quote from AG Report: During the month long investigation, 179 WITNESSES were interviewed and 74,000 pieces of evidence were reviewed. The report details the women’s testimonies of suggestive remarks made by the governor and his unwanted hugging, kissing and groping.

And just before the election for Governor begins? All of a sudden now, NYC mayor has a new and clean look, is smiling and doing part of his job once again? Stop calling the public stupid. BS!
