Delta Is A ‘Big Threat’ To Unvaccinated People, Says NIH Director

NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins is encouraged by a rise in vaccinations across the country but says there's still a long way to go, and that enough Americans need to get vaccinated so the country doesn't have a variant that can get past the vaccine.

  1. Some pastors are acting like Jim Jones! who killed all his own people in the name of God! who he thought he was!

    1. @Adam Taylor You’re a fool. Scientifically, life begins at the development of the embryo. When sperm fertilizes the egg. That is a scientists definition of life. Sorry that doesn’t fit your narrative. God is pro abortion? What a fool you are. So when they find bacteria on another planet though, it’s considered life.

    2. @Wark Mahlberg This wouldn’t be needed if right wingers still believed in personal responsibility.

    3. @Hoppy Harrington Person responsibility? The left slaughters their children at an alarming rate.

    1. How are you loving your neighbors by getting vaccinated if you can still catch and spread Covid afterwards? Why else do you think the CDC is telling the vaccinated to mask up?

They hide their intentions under the banner of love, but they don’t really care about us. Tell me I’m lying. Pray to Jesus Christ. Love God and he will show you how, and help you love your neighbor. After all it was his commandment

      John 13:34 KJVS
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

    2. @n n you’re really stuck in this left vs right. Like its the blood vs the crips. Let’s stop being so divided and pay attention to what’s really happening.

    3. @Thomas Spurgeon Our Heavenly Father smote the wolf in sheep’s clothing Trump on election day. Amen

    1. I live in the center of the area that’s got the highest covid positive rate in Louisiana. One family of all the people that I know have tested positive and they were vaccinated.

    2. @Jackie Lemon
The collapse of the British empire, the creation of apartheid South Africa, and the rise of Adolf Hitler are the result of a global pandemic.
This one will be no different in the consequential transformation of human society.

  2. Delta is a big threat to those of us who have long term illnesses and need to go into the hospital often. The hospitals are full of covid which makes everyone else in the hospital needing a nurses care, out of luck. I barely got a room after lying in a hallway. I’m scared about the next time that I need help! I’m vaccinated

    1. @Punch Trump Mannequins You are too weak to say PUNCH !!!! SERIOUSLY YOU ARE WEAK LITTLE BOY !!!!!

    2. @Punch Trump Mannequins You know more about QAnon than the average Trump supporters!!!!!!! MSDNC is just Q ANON FOR DEMOCRATS!!!!!!

    1. Not one single vaccine available is 100% effective, but if you do contract COVID, chances are you will be significantly less sick

  3. We would already be over this if if wasn’t for the outright lies about vaccines and masking from Republicans and Fox News.

    1. Is it a lie from a republican that a fully vaccinated person can catch , spread, or die from Covid19? The logic these “experts” are pushing is that a fully vaccinated person have a 99.99% chance of catching Covid and dying from it. The sad truth is that’s also true for unvaccinated people. Why else do you think the overwhelming majority of Covid cases were asymptomatic. The death rate even before the vaccine was 0.0004% for the world. So how would everyone being vaccinated get us out of this? Isn’t the CDC recommending the already vaccinated wear masks? This is far deeper than what you care realize. Have a good day.

  4. Mother Nature is just weeding out the gene pool. And apparently she thinks Republicans are the most noxious of weeds….

    1. @Jeremy Francis Really dumb comment. Doesn’t even make sense. You been drinking today or just ignorant?

  5. Those who can, get vaccinated to protect your loved ones as well as yourself, and help build herd immunity for the vulnerable and children. Otherwise, time for natural selection on the rest …

    1. No thanks. Already recovered. This is the best immunity that beats any vaccine and anyone claiming the opposite has no clue of medicine fundamentals. I am happy to face the natural selection. If you are happy to be the lab rat for the vaccine – best of luck to you mate.

  6. A shame that this is politicized. What we should remember is that they politicized seat belts.

    Imagine the opposition:
“Don’t you strap me in my car with you commie belts!”
“It’s my freedom to ride unrestrained!”

    1. A bigger fight was getting cigarette smoke out of public spaces. The selfish never want to consider how their actions affect others.

  7. “we could face a situation where the vaccines lose some efficacy, and then we’d be in a world of hurt.” Pun intended.

  8. It will take 6 weeks for getting both dose and for vaccines to fully effective. Good luck America.

  9. When is the CDC and all the companies who created the vacine develop some kind of vacine for low immunity individuals?
