My daughter had an embarrassing Trac phone until her sophomore year of HS. She claimed getting an iPhone changed her life…she could finally communicate with her friends! When I was in HS, I talked to my friends for hours on the phone. Today’s kids don’t. I told my teenage daughter that I expected her to self-regulate. She had to learn to manage her time on the phone, because she sure didn’t want me to do it for her.
