    If you label it terrorism, it shouldn’t matter foreign or domestic. Consequences should be the same. We have laws that keep us from terrorizing even those we love

  3. I heard that McConnell was going to have the Constitution wrapped and given to Trump. He might actually get a couple bucks for it now, maybe. It’s pretty much just a worthless parchment.

    SENATOR X : director wray with all respect i simply haven’t heard today any awareness on your part of the “chicago way.” so my question quite frankly sir is do you not understand that no matter what, self defense and violence are never the same thing?!

  8. After today’s hearing, if this is as good as it gets, no wonder the breach, hard to believe FBI didn’t know what was coming after listening to Trump’s lying nonsense
    whose voters happen to take him seriously.

    “A Journey to Almost Nowhere” was the first draft for a Talking Heads song…

  10. The Republican politicians are giving aid/comfort to the enemy.
    It’s about time to remove them, and get things done in their absence.

  15. Excuse me, but the FBI didn’t properly notify law enforcement of the threat – SUPPOSEDLY. In addition, we haven’t seen Christopher Wray provide one press briefing after the attempted coup. WHO BELIEVES CHRISTOPHER WRAY IS REALLY PROTECTING THE COUNTRY? At best, he turned a blind eye. I CALL THAT COMPLICITY. Why is Biden keeping him on?

    I’m a supporter of 2nd Amendment rights. The Constitution in general,and all the freedoms we enjoy, but if you see a bunch of yahoos, running around in the woods,doing live fire drills,with assault weapons, you might wanna bring it to the attention of the FBI. Just saying… Capt.Bob, SV (Sailing Vessel) 27th Chance, Tampa Fl.

    • Can you imagine the uproar if a group of Muslims did the same here in America? This isn’t about the Constitution. This is about white supremacy.

      @Wigit I definitely agree,it would have been very different, and tragically so.

    Fix the economy and you won’t have to worry about domestic terrorism. Demagogues like Trump come out of economic bad times and bring along these domestic terrorists types.

    • Turd Ferguson | March 2, 2021 at 8:59 PM | Reply

      The right wing echo chamber is really good at convincing their aggrieved followers that they have been screwed over by Democrats, even during good economic times.

      @Turd Ferguson Propaganda works.

  18. We must clearly define what “domestic terrorism” is, build in enough room to further tweak the definition and then immediately make it law. It should have been law after the Oklahoma bombing. If anyone needs a visual of what domestic terrorism is, show them the footage of January 6, 2021.

    terrorism is terrorism, be it domestic or foreign….so c’mon man!!!! I don’t know who said this but here’s a quote : “there is no such thing as morally justifable terrorism”
