    1. Republican Philosophy:

Respect the flag and police unless you’re using the flag to attack police.

Respect the rule of law unless you don’t like a judge’s ruling.

Life is sacred until it’s born, after which you can use health care and pandemics as political footballs.

When we’re not in power, we’re under assault by the left. When we’re in power, we’re under assault by the leftist deep state.

China’s lies about COVID were reprehensible, but a US President can lie about it to “avoid panic.”

Condemn China’s failure to contain a novel virus, but it’s okay to let it infect your family at home when you had forewarning.

Don’t investigate liars who raise reasonable suspicion. Investigate baseless propaganda traced back to the Kremlin.

Government should keep its hands off our guns and put them in a woman’s uterus. ID to buy a gun is oppressive. ID to vote ensures freedom.

Don’t send nasty tweets unless you target a liberal.

Rhetoric is figurative, literal, or “just a joke” depending on what we want to believe.

Officials shouldn’t go to Mexico during a crisis unless they’re Republican.

Explaining China’s human rights abuse is excusing it. Giving ostensible approval of it to the Chinese President isn’t noteworthy.

A President’s son’s Chinese private business deals is corruption. A President’s $5.6 million profit from Chinese, state-run companies while in office is shrewd business.

Don’t believe the media unless it’s right-wing. Don’t believe a President unless he’s a Republican, even if he’s an habitual liar.

Cancel culture is bad unless you cancel celebrities, journalists, Amazon, Democrats, non-radical Republicans, protests for equality…

Golfing monthly is dereliction of duty. Golfing weekly is networking.

      Don’t be China’s puppet. Be Russia’s.

Don’t wage war unless you’re funding it in Yemen.

Don’t tax and spend unless you’re deficit-spending on tax cuts.

Don’t give stimulus money to people unless you trickle it down from the top.

No welfare – except for corporations.

Presidents are crooked public servants who don’t know anything, unless they’re the 45th, who’s an omniscient god.

Ivy league alumni are commie liberals unless daddy put them through Wharton.

Evil Socialists create failed states, unless they’re killers trained by the failed Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Don’t cheat in an election unless you use voter suppression or the help of a foreign adversary.

SCOTUS picks can’t be seated in an election year, unless the election is a few weeks away.

You must wait for an outgoing official to leave before you impeach him, when it’s too late to impeach him.

A Senator can acquit a President who sends rioters to your workplace, then condemn him in the strongest terms, and then vow to support him if he’s on a future ballot.

If you criticize a former POTUS, you love to hate him and can’t move on. Now what about Hillary’s emails?

Don’t let COVID stop you…from using it as an excuse to vote by proxy so you can go to CPAC and boo when they tell you to put on a mask.

Elitism is bad. We support the middle class. Now, let’s go worship a gold statue of a billionaire.

    2. TheDiamond2009 – The racial protests weren’t partisan politics, had nothing to do with the Democratic party, and weren’t instigated by lawmakers. That can’t be said for the Capitol insurrection.

    3. J Groovy, first, less of the hyperbole about an insurrection please, I’m an intelligent man who sees right through the appropriation and redefinition of language and the labelling of the left wing press. You don’t head to steal and secure the seat of government of the US armed with bear spray.

As to BLM and Antifa, they are left wing radicals, and they took to the streets in early 2020 and right up to the elections, before going relatively quiet again. Timing is everything. BLM has nothing to do with black lives and everything to do with political disruption, power and the enrichment of its founders. Who are the secret funders of BLM who aren’t named in their unaudited financial statements? I can name one specific funder whose name should be of interest to you, based upon credible research.

As for Antifa, who funded them, who promoted their bailing and who directed them?

Only a fool would argue that it has nothing to do with politics.

    4. @TheDiamond2009 – You tell me who funded Antifa. Are you accusing the Democrats of doing that, because I’d love to see proof. The many BLM demonstrations were the culmination of decades of police brutality. Are you actually suggesting that people wouldn’t have protested unless the Democratic party tricked them into it? Rioters showed up there as sure as flies show up at a picnic.

Comparing BLM to the Capitol riots is like comparing apples to orangutans. Associating BLM with Antifa is like associating a stadium full of football fans with a few thugs vandalizing the restrooms.

93% of the BLM protests were peaceful. Of the remaining 7%, 99% of the people didn’t riot. I live in a city at the center of those protests where law enforcement went after the rioters diligently.

While some Dem lawmakers expressed support for the cause, none supported Antifa, and none condoned violence. While the protesters tended to be liberal, they weren’t partisan political events. They protested a real, repeating injustice.

Capitol insurrectionists rioted over a lie. The election wasn’t stolen, and Pence couldn’t stop the certification. “Stop the Steal” was fundamentally partisan. Republican politicians encouraged it despite months of growing intelligence and common sense that said organized groups were likely to use violence.

Put plainly, it was a coup attempt at one of America’s highest value terrorist targets. There were several groups, several of which were white supremacists. Their level of planning and coordination far surpassed that of any of those protesting police brutality.

Giuliani said “Let’s have trial by combat!” right before the riot. Once it was underway, The President attacked his own VP on Twitter as Pence and lawmakers were being whisked away by security. When Rep. McCarthy implored Trump to send backup, the President replied, “Well, Kevin, I guess these people are just more upset about the election than you are.”

    5. J Groovy, please, I asked you once, and I’m asking you again, please, less of the hyperbolic nonsense. Let’s start with a sense of perspective, and see if we can reach agreement on certain elements.

To describe a relative handful of crackpots, largely unconnected, largely uncoordinated, and with no real weapons to speak of, fuelled by patriotism first and foremost (in the true sense of the word), as perpetrating an insurrection or coup d’etat is laugh out loud preposterous.

Now I’m not supporting them at all, let me be clear, they should be held to account under the law for whatever criminal acts they’ve committed, but to draw a parallel with Myanmar, for example, and what has happened in more recent times in South and Central America and parts of Africa, is quite frankly laughable. At least ponder it for a while, consider how ridiculous it is for that riot to be described as an attempt to take and retain the seat of power.

If you can admit that you’ve overstepped a little, then we can proceed. Otherwise, despite thinking earlier on in an exchange that your head is screwed on (unlike most here) and that you were rational, I’ll have to dismiss this altogether and move on.

    1. @Scahoni They got slapped down in court 60 times for lying about the existence of significant election fraud. Oh, I forgot, when asked in Court if they were claiming fraud, all the lawyers in all the cases said no, they weren’t. They only made those claims out of court, when they were not under oath.

    2. @Scahoni Then I guess the Republicans would have no problem proving their case in court. Except they failed. 60 times. People without critical thinking skills are easy to dupe, but make poor lawyers.

    3. @J Groovy From what I’ve seen, more than 30,000 documented lies in 4 years (an average of 20.5 lies per day)!

  1. The party formerly known as Republicans,
“Never mind what I said yesterday, just listen to what I’m telling you now.”
“I know I’m lying, but hear me out.”

    1. @Trudy Matthews no… YOU literally validated the OP comment 😂😂😂 exactly what they said…is exactly what you did…

    2. @J A Keller republicans are the type to 💩 right in your hand and then tell you YOU are wrong for not thinking it’s 🍫 like they said it was
      ..

    3. My Little Pitbull, I agree 100%. All of that left wing violence throughout 2020 and the press here called it “mainly peaceful protests”. It’s abhorrent.

    4. Republican Philosophy:

Respect the flag and police unless you’re using the flag to attack police.

Respect the rule of law unless you don’t like a judge’s ruling.

    1. Tuck keeps his uniform consisting of a white pointy hood and robes quite immaculate, I’m sure. He never does any of the actual dirty work when he can gin up his braindead viewers to do it for him, after all.

    1. Da Beast, thank you for your eloquent and carefully considered comment. Quite the intellectual, I see.

    1. @dozzer009 Nearly all of the hate crimes the media bleats about turn out to be hoaxes. Enough to make you wonder why so many people are still happy to trust the media.

    2. @dozzer009 Here’s a list of people who were beaten for wearing a red hat. They aren’t all white but their attackers believed they were white supremacists.
Elderly Veteran, Red Bluff CA Didn’t want to be identified.
12 year old boy in Boulder, beaten on his bike by a woman for Trump sign.
7 year old boy, hat stolen outside the DNC by two women.
Tyler Griffin on School Bus, FL Sent to hospital
      Hunter Richard, 16 TX
15 year old slapped by Patrick Bradley in NH during the primary.
Maryland High School Student beaten for MAGA hat in 2016 on the 3rd day of protest over election 2016 (Capitol riot wasn’t the first violent riot over a lost election, just the shortest).
Jahangir “John” Turan, NY, an immigrant
      Atsu Mable, MD, Black immigrant
Two Marines beaten by Antifa because they thought they had been to the nearby Trump Rally in Philly.

    3. @Mimzy Jinx
There’s no proof any of this was done just by democrats. There’s a lot of crazy people out there with a bone to pick. I’m not saying democrats are without fault but you’re all over the place with your accusations on hate crimes against Asians and Jewish people yet you rail against a movement regarding police brutality and black people. There is no excuse for violence against anyone and I find it abhorrent. You only seem to care about the violence perpetrated against your side while continuing to wage a culture war of ridiculousness and whataboutism. You don’t want justice, you want revenge.

    4. @Sandra D 1 question. Had Trump won the re-election in a landslide and on January 6 the Democrats, BLM and ANTIFA would have stormed the Capitol what would have happened to them?

  2. The fact is, the GOP never backed the blue only when it was politically convenient for them. People are gushing over these hypocrite Republicans who pretend to have certain morals, but everything they say is pretentious and sugary. They don’t mean anything they say.

    1. Eric Swalwell was right? Oh, sorry, I thought you were referencing the time he dropped his guts on air.

    2. Chi, lol! The left never stops banging on about race, and when somebody points out that defunding the police has caused more black deaths*, here you are denouncing him. The irony is lost, clearly.

      * who’d have guessed it?

  3. If you had told me 20 years ago they would be here now? I’d have laughed at you. But now in hindsight, or perhaps more of a acceptance that they are now UnAmerican, I should not have been surprised.

  4. As far a backing the blue, they sure did the direct opposite of that on Jan 6. Any moral authority they thought they had is just laughable and dripping with hypocrisy at this point.

    1. There are signs of this well before Jan 6. When video of a white criminal shooting two cops (one of which was killed) came out last year, they were calling him a freedom fighter, saying cops didn’t have a right to pull him over for committing a crime, ignoring his resisting police (they worded it as “non compliance” to make it sound better, but it’s the same exact thing), and that the cops deserved to die.

The big news companies won’t report this, because they’re too busy trying to appeal to these “people”, who only see crime if it’s not committed by those they could call brother.

    2. Jeb, the irony and hypocrisy of this comment is absolutely staggering. Every single murder by the cops on this channel and CNN over the last 18 months at least has been the killing of a black person, and almost exclusively a criminal who didn’t comply with the police. And furthermore, they’ve twisted the stories to imply innocence on the part of the criminal.

So where are the stories about white guys being killed by the police? They are never reported. Do you know who Tony Timpa is?

    1. @Raydensheraj
Instead of the long string of ironically contrarian adjectives, just call the GOP what they are: re-branded Dixiecrats.
No Christian, no American, no Republican, and no Conservative flies or condones a racist traitor flag. Ever.
The GOP started it’s slide beyond the lunatic fringe when Strom Thurmond ran and failed as the Dixiecrat candidate for president in 48.
Today’s redhat Q’s have no idea what the party of Lincoln embodies, and obviously don’t care.
The party was hijacked, and they killed the passengers.
Stop referring to the hijackers as pilots. It’s annoying.

    2. @Trapped in America maybe Pres.Trump should have given Bidens buddy Putin a list of our 16 most important targets!!!! No,only a vegetable would do that!!!

    3. @Luis Rosales Both parties lie, But the Rep don’ t care about you only the rich and that a fact !

    4. @Luis Rosales Republicans lie a heck of a lot more than Democrats. You even voted for a CONMAN because you hate Democrats so much. And if you had your way, all Democrats would be in prison or dead and you would have Trump as a fascist dictator, soooo… You’re part of the Authoritarian Dictatorship Party, Republican. We don’t wanna hear your take on ANYTHING because we don’t care about what you have to say anymore. Adios. WE have WAY, WAY better people to care about today.

    5. @David Eby Enough lies, dude. Stop making excuses to hate on the Democrats, pick up a firearm, ship yourself to a battlefield already and fight your own wars from now on, make yourself useful instead of destroying our democratic values and so-called “Unity” that we ALLEGEDLY have in the so-called “UnItEd” States. We over here in rational society will continue to be bipartisan and think about other people before ourselves and focus on building the future instead of destroying it for a wannabe orange fascist dictator.

    1. Truthsayer, a couple of points. First, this point about black people being held in prison because they can’t afford bail, does that not also apply to white people who can’t afford bail? Why is that specifically a black issue? Isn’t it simply a class issue, a lack of money?

Where in the US is a black person not allowed to buy a house? Is it systemic, all over the US? Is it the law in certain states or counties? And surely if there’s a prohibition, that would be against the law and they could sue, couldn’t they?

I’m interested in the racist voting laws. Could you explain to me what the racist element of voting laws is precisely?

    2. I don’t understand the lynching point. Yes, I fully appreciate the issue, I remember the film Mississippi Burning from my youth, and know a little bit about the Jim Crow laws and the events of the middle of the 20th century. But it doesn’t make sense to me. If you lynch somebody, that’s murder, right?

  5. The retrumplicans are only interested in things that benefit their careers, thanks to the orange-a-tan who has made a lifetime out of this mantra. Shameful. But, they keep getting elected…..

  6. 👮‍♀️ lost their lives but GOP and their supporters don’t care 🤷 and that’s sad 😔

  7. Military should recruit them against their will and send them to Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.
