And even new penalties concerning unvaccinated players and staff in the NFL. While changes to stem the pandemic continue, the window for major structural changes that could reimagine society may be closing, according to Ekimini Uwan. Uwan, co-host of the podcast “Truth Tables,” joins American Voices with Alicia Menendez to discuss her latest piece for The Atlantic detailing how leaders can address the parts of society that were broken long before the pandemic.» Subscribe to MSNBC:

  1. The death toll from India is estimated from 400,000 to 4.5 million. America please learn from this suffering, and get vaccinated you are playing Russian Roulette with your health! It is easy and free

    1. @Jim River So you follow Satan whether you believe it or not. The false god. The false savior. The one everyone is crying to for help. The pharmakeia sorceries that decieved the nations in Rev.18:23

    2. @DAVID I can not follow satan if I do not believe in satan or god. That is just a way religion keeps you around. That makes sense prove to me how religion is real from the bible.

    3. @DAVID You are an atheist that believes in 1 more god than I do. How do you dismiss all other religions and gods?

  2. “Numbers don’t lie…” But you can count on Republicans and Fox News to lie like crazy that, ironically, hurt the health/viability of their supporters/viewers.
    Chumps for Chump!

    1. Clear pass. That’s what employees at faux are required to show when entering the building. They are all vaccinated.

  3. Odd question to ask about. Regular, good struggling employees when a man worth more than everyone combined is going to space while paying less tax than a construction worker

    1. @Constituent A again why would I care? What is your point? It’s not like you or anyone else is going to do something about My stance and opinion on the matter.

    2. @Constituent A actually there are millions just like Me, the main question is what are you going to do about it? How are you going to stop how I think?

  4. Introduce covid insurance. Get a free vaccine or pay for treatment when you end up in the hospital *I’m talking about a fee above regular health insurance*

  5. Don’t worry about blaming, just wave goodbye to them. Do what you can to make yourselves and your children safe is all you need to worry about. It’s about free choice.

    1. If your children are under 12, you can’t protect them yet. It shouldn’t be left up to individual choice, and some people are too stupid-stubborn to do the right thing. It’s long past time to mandate vaccination.

  6. People who believe in common sence have really gotten a whole lot to rethink over the last five years.

  7. I love how she recognized the single individuals who are not doing so well. The various religious creeds tend to demonize the people who do not want children.

  8. Let’s not forget the struggling seniors. I lost my job, had to move in to help my 89, 90 year old parents. I have no income.
