Minneapolis Officer: Neck Restraint Not Appropriate For Someone Under Control And Handcuffed | MSNBC

Lt. Johnny Mercil, use-of-force instructor with the Minneapolis Police Department, testified that Chauvin's use of his knee on George Floyd's neck has never been a trained neck restraint in the department. He says this tactic would not be appropriate for someone "under control and handcuffed." Aired on 04/06/2021.

    1. @Harvey Manfredsenjenson I admire how after a couple of your comments you can become so disliked

    2. @Pinecone Person Why would I want to be liked by all the fake outraged race-baiters here? Oh me oh my….

    3. You should watch the full examination and not the cherry picked mainstream media portions. This man literally admitted he has restrained someone just as long. He also admitted Chauvin was authorized to use MORE force but chose to use less 🤦🏽‍♂️

  1. and the restraint continued for minutes after he stopped moving….can we just conclude this was manslaughter at the very least?

    1. @Paul Jansen well for starters. Too many blamed what was obviously strangulation on overdosing. Issue is we all know George would be alive if not for that ex-officer.

    2. @Paul Jansen i believe you think this wasn’t intentional murder, i believe this was intentional, not much more too it than the actual video, we all see this public execution.

    3. @Paul Jansen I, also, believe it was intentional. They knew each other. Worked Security together for some club. Prolly was a work tiff that Chauvin took to the streets. And we all witnessed the outcome of it.

    1. The estimated lethal dose of fentanyl in humans is 2 mg. The recommended serum concentration for analgesia is 1–2 ng/ml and for anaesthesia it is 10–20 ng/ml. Blood concentrations of approximately 7 ng/ml or greater have been associated with fatalities where poly-substance use was involved.

FENTENAYL FLOYD- 11NG OF ILLEGAL FENTENAYL.
      METHAMPHETAMINE- 19NG.

      AKA a SPEEDBALL.

Respiratory failure is particularly likely with speedballs because the
effects of stimulants wear off far more quickly than the effects of
      opioids.
 For example, fatal slowing of the breathing can occur when the
stimulating cocaine wears off and the full effects of the heroin are
      felt on their own.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    2. HOW MANY TIMES IS THE MEDIA GOING TO CRY WOLF AND LIE AND MAKE MARTYRS OUT OF VIOLENT CRIMINAL GARBAGE WHILE RUINING INNOCENT PEOPLE’S LIVES?

      BREONNA TAYLOR
      RAYSHARD BROOKS
      MIKE BROWN
      TRAYVON MARTIN
      JACOB BLAKE
      PHILANDO CASTILE
      ERIC GARNER
      AHMAUD ARBERY
      DANIEL PRUDE
      GEORGE FLOYD
      ALTON STERLING
      ELIJAH MCCAIN

WHEN IS THE MEDIA GOING TO STOP LYING, RACE BAITING, GASLIGHTING?

More white people are killed by the police every year… Know any of their names?

More cops are killed by African Americans every year… Know any of their names?

      🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

    3. @FENTANYL FLOYD an fbi report states that only 64 average officers die a year but then we take a look at just black people and its over 240

    1. No we believe in diversity now. Chauvin will be undoubtedly played by Sandra Oh and George Floyd by Rosie O’Donnell

    2. @Harvey Manfredsenjenson Donald is an actor, a guided one he used to be. He can play all characters.

    3. @Tavernum No because he’d have to read the script first, and he won’t do that if it isn’t about him

  2. Who’s going to defend a murder the whole world saw this police officer murder that man in cold blood

    1. Ricky EXACTLY! We the people are I WITNESSES. Everybody believe in a fake person called God, HEEEEE is in Visible, but don’t believe in a MURDER before your very eye WTF!

    1. @Black lives Matter THEY FOUND ILLEGAL DRUGS IN HIS MOUTH.

THEY FOUND ILLEGAL DRUGS IN HIS CAR.

THEY FOUND HALF DISSOLVED ILLEGAL DRUGS IN THE POLICE CAR.

HIS OWN GIRLFRIEND TESTIFIED GEORGE FLOYD OVERDOSED ON A LEGAL SPEEDBALLS IN MARCH 2020.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    2. @FENTANYL FLOYD I know you think you know Everything, but people are running around saying Eve ate the apple, God said to love thy neighbor, children of God are against abortion. OK let me tell you facts that are in the bible and that I do not believe. There is no mention of an apple in the book of Genesis, God made people eat their neighbors. God made people boil and eat their own infants even the after birth. Well as far as a serial killer he was the biggest of all. They are words in the bible I did not write that fake book.

    3. @Black lives Matter Can a person overdose on methamphetamine?

Yes, a person can overdose on methamphetamine. An overdose occurs when the person uses too much of a drug and has a toxic reaction that results in serious, harmful symptoms or death.
In 2017, about 15 percent of all drug overdose deaths involved the methamphetamine category, and 50 percent of those deaths also involved an opioid, with half of those cases related to the synthetic opioid fentanyl. (CDC Wonder Multiple Causes of Death—see #42 on Meth RR.)  It is important to note that cheap, dangerous synthetic opioids are sometimes added to street methamphetamine without the user knowing

How can a methamphetamine overdose be treated?

Because methamphetamine overdose often leads to a stroke, heart attack, or organ problems, first responders and emergency room doctors try to treat the overdose by treating these conditions, with the intent of:

restoring blood flow to the affected part of the brain (stroke)

restoring blood flow to the heart (heart attack)

      treating the organ problems

    4. @Black lives Matter I’ll have someone kneel on my neck like Fentenayl Floyd for 15 minutes if you take 11ng/ml of FENTENAYL and 19 Ng/ml of METHAMPHETAMINE.

      🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

  3. OBVIOUSLY!
    Minimum Force Necessary.
The FIRST thing you learn about apprehension.

  4. Neck restraint with a KNEE shouldn’t even be a part of training because that is MURDERED. No one should be allowed to do that to a HUMAN being. They need to do away with the whole police force all around the GLOBE and start from scratch. That man been putting his knee on people’s neck because he was too comfortable on that camera. 🙄

  5. hands in pocket and knee shin on George Floyd for 9.29 minutes, not doing CPR, not doing pulse check, not turning Floyd on his side as one of his co officers was heard saying on video when Floyd was lying on his face, and Chauvin NEVER offer Narcan
    to Floyd
    for drug overdose

  6. That’s What I Said Floyd Was On The Ground Handcuffs In Back Why Did The Officer Have His Knee On His Neck ? The Could Have Put Floyd In The Back Seat Of His Car.! And What Was The Officer Waiting For ? When And You Did Call EM Ambulance ?

  7. They sure have great witnesses. I’m so glad. He’s going down!!! Monster. He won’t last long in prison unless they put him in solitary and even then there are no guarantees for his safety.

  8. What happened to Mr. Floyd, should be clear to anyone. And if it’s not, please allow Chauvin to kneel on your neck for 9 minutes. After 9 minutes of Chauvin kneeling on your neck, please come back and post your comments on what that experience was like on this thread.

  9. Would it be appropriate after they’re dead? A dead person is definitely under control. The paramedics had to remove Chauvin from Floyd’s dead body.

  10. Yes, exactly, Chauvin killed Floyd. Just like that. And he enjoyed it. Oh, boy, he enjoyed it sooo much!! And the whole world saw it. You killed George Floyd, Chauvin!!!

    1. hexalone – Handcuffed person could kick, head-butt, spit, bite (which could be deadly these days). Difficult to even get up off the ground. Couldn’t run fast. Could not use a weapon.

    2. @steve jette I know this. Spit is nothing ! kicking…just bash them on the knees with your baton. At the end of the day….it was murder. Maybe everyone needs to have a knee place on their neck with pressure to see how it feels. I’m out !

    3. @hexalone I am with you 100000000000% The Trial is ridiculous. I thought being an I Witness was the BEST EVIDENCE! There are millions of Witnesses that saw a FUC—- MURDER. 4 KILLERS bury them under the jail alive.
