Neal Katyal: Matt Gaetz Should be Worried About Prison Time

MSNBC Legal Analyst Neal Katyal says, now that fmr. Matt Gaetz associate Joel Greenberg has pleaded guilty and is cooperating with the Feds, GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz should be feeling 'incredibly bad' and should genuinely be concerned he could end up in jail.

    1. @ocelot75 The Feds are good at what they do, if indicted their conviction rate is 97%
Ya better hope you never get indicted,..hahaha

    2. @jsean g The feds are going woke. More than a month of allegations and no charges filed. All fake!

    1. @Shannon Hale Yup. Just as cringy on your other comment. You’re an absolute spinner darling

    2. His face tied with Tucker Carlson as the best perpetually constipated looking faces on planet earth.

    3. He does look like a plastic face cartoon villain doesn’t he? “Clayface Gatez” they’ll call him in prison.

    1. I’ll be convinced when I see something with teeth like the Hunter Biden laptop you all refused to acknowledge. Show me proof that isn’t an allegation or a tenuous receipt…

  1. He said “I mean, I think you can like, open a movie theater with all this projection” XD

    1. In the immortal words of the Clash,. “If I go there will be trouble,If I stay it will be double.”

  2. Situation is looking more and more grim for ‘BUTTHEAD’ ’BEAVIS’ is singing like a canary

    1. @Brandy Courvoisier Biden is so clueless about his job, he went to(100-yr old) Jimmy Carter for advise & did what Jimmy told him to

    2. Greenberg plead guilty to making false claims about another of his political opponents. Whoops

    3. Same claims too. Posed as a student and typed a letter to the head of a school a teacher worked at who was running against him and said he knew the teacher was sleeping with a student. Caused a big investigation which ended with him pleading guilty. There goes his credibility.

    1. @Robert Swims Perhaps now that Trump’s personal attorney, Attorney General Bill Bar, is no longer in power those “assumptions” might actually be investigated and followed through. That is already happening with criminals such as Matt Gaetz and Rudy Giuliani.

    2. @Andrew Romero as long as Democrats keep giving “justice” to your own criminals like Crooked Hillary, I know you will be satisfied.

  3. Note to parents: this is what happens when you think your kid can do no wrong and spend your life shielding him from the consequences of his horrible actions. The behaviour gets worse and the consequences get bigger, until you can’t do anything about them.

    1. Possibly. Or maybe the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? In the case of DJT he’s just like his dad. I don’t know what Gaetz’s father is like? And on a roll, apparently Bill Gates had these party and strip club behavior since he was a teen, thus became Epstein’s friend. The *BILLIONAIRE* status must knight them with a hubris and shield them from valuing a good reputation/character.

    1. Watching trump insurrectionists get arrested would usually brighten up mine but this will do just fine

    2. The cell door slams behind matty. a voice in the darkness; “grab that strawberry jam and get over here”

    3. @Deus Ex Machina Yeah..stop trying to rewrite Qanon.. You people are such followers

    1. Greenberg pleas deal came out yesterday and he plead guilty to making the same claims about another political opponent

  4. I bet there is a fella in Prison named Big Bubba who is looking forward to a new cell mate, Gaetz better get used to walking funny

    1. @jsean g Greenberg told the same lie about someone else and plead guilty to it. Now watch this all go away cuz it never happened. He wanted gaetz to chase Trump for a pardon and gaetz wouldn’t do it so he made up this story

    2. @Nick Bernath Yes and ‘Sammy The Bull’ Gravano personally killed 20 people before he flipped. Like I said,.they’re good at what they do,..lmao

    3. @jsean g might wanna read that and then look up what Greenberg plead guilty too. Doesnt do much for your case when the only guy saying it happened pleads guilty to lying about the same thing about someone else

  5. This is what happens when you’ve been living in your own little dream world for too long.
Reality slaps you in the face and tells you,
    It’s time to wake up.
    and…
    It’s time to pay up.

    1. Uh oh, Greenberg plead guilty to making the same false claims about another political opponent

  6. OH DAMN…I thought that banner was just a rumor, when I heard it in the radio. lol You know its over for MATT. Nobody likes him on either party. That banner was flown in Florida? smh

    1. Yes it was flown here. Not a rumor, or a joke. He is so done. All of these predators are going down.

    2. Greenberg plead guilty to making false claims about another political opponent. Well there goes that

  7. “Ok Mr Gaetz, you and your pretty pretty mouth, meet your cellmates, Rahul, T-bone and icepick…”

  8. No matter what happens Gaetz will say I’m being framed; I didn’t do it and so on and a whole group of people are going to believe him and we will need to listen to the craziness for the rest of our lives.

    1. Yeah. That occurred to me, too. But look on the bright side. Gaetz will STILL be in federal prison and after a while, he’ll be forgotten about by EVERYONE, including and especially the powerful whose friendship and engagement he so covets. And the MAGA and QAnon crazies will eventually find some other deep-state plot to follow. and will be jawing on about whatever other delusional fantasies they’ve got. So we’ll have to listen to them, anyway.

  9. “You could open a movie theatre with all this projection” hits the nail on the head now doesn’t it
