To answer your question directly, if there was evidence of any kind that any public servant did something illegal or something to serve themselves at the detriment of their constituents, I would demand a heavy investigation into that public servant. Public servants, particularly law makers, should be held to a higher standard of ethics and investigation due to the power they wield. If law makers can’t be held to the law, then they need to be removed or the law needs to change.
