    1. It is normal to get flooded when you build houses near large rivers….it is like George Carlin used to say
….in Hawaii they built houses near a volcano and then are shocked when they have lava in their living rooms….

  1. Sad…how about an update on the folks in Kentucky who were hammered with huge tornado damage on one end of the state and record flooding in the eastern part of the state…within the same year…

  4. The leaders who have been embezzling the the hell out of the country are watching this on their big screen tv in Dubai while sipping coffee.

  5. I know of a Ethiopian prince who, if Nigerians would just cash his check, would send them half of that check’s value, after receiving the cash back of course.

  6. Pray remove your evil Ideas of Greed and power and fame, get humble before its too late for your souls

  7. Humanity helps each other in history. Now…without any checks and balances on power and money. (Fiat) Those powers are manipulating tragedy to an insane degree!

  8. It’s amazing the love hate relationship that humanity has with bodies of water. We’ve always set our civilizations close to them for For the resources they provide and the transport they allow, not to mention their beauty, but we always end up having to deal with the consequences of living by such a strong force of nature. It’s either a testament to our stubbornness and stupidity or our resilience and resolve.

    1. It’s salt. We’ve built our civilizations around salt which have large deposits where oceans meet the land. It used to be necessary because, ya know, no transportation but i feel like we could probably pull back a bit now

  9. It’s unfortunate that Nigeria participated in the oil industry which is what leads to all these floods anyway. It’s a lose-lose situation, everybody wants the income $$$ but nobody wants the outcome 🌧️.

    1. Please supply the data it makes you think that what we see is the result of Nigerian oil. More likely this is a weather event and it happens every 10 years. It has nothing to do with your liver with Nigerian oil. You were spreading false information and according to President Obama in his speech several months ago, people who spread false information or attempting to destroy our democracy. Stop trying to destroy our democracy.

  10. Looks like it’s business as usual there. Traffic is moving back-and-forth. People are making do with what they have to make do with.
