Remembering Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur

Montreal Canadiens and NHL legend Guy Lafleur has died at age 70 after a long fight against lung cancer.

  1. I was never a hockey fan nor know anything about it , but knew Guy Lafleur was up there with the best of them , like Wayne Gretzky- ” The Great One” .

    1. Today the padding is bigger, but players today have other advantages like graphite sticks, less clutching, hooking and grabbing. It all balances out in the end.

    2. @John also the goalies were not as big or as athletic today’s goalies,and they’re much more technically sound now

  2. There have been a few better players to play in the NHL but there was never anyone more exciting. He was something else.
