Rep. Joyce Beatty Responds To Being Arrested In Senate Office Building

Seven minutes after walking into a Senate office building, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty and 8 others were arrested while peacefully demonstrating in support of voting rights – a stark contrast to the arrests that DIDN’T happen on January 6. “What we see is the disparity of treatment, we see the disparities when it comes to Black Americans and majority Americans,” Beatty said. “The responses to the rules of engagement are different.”

    1. @Nate H How about 99.99% of the people that were there for trumps speech and NOT the groups the the FBI were working with had no idea that the capitol would be over ran by the groups that the FBI were helping.

    2. @YoutubeHATES freeSPEECH You exemplify why Trump loves the uneducated. You once again have failed to support your argument that an insurrection requires people to be armed with guns.

    3. @YoutubeHATES freeSPEECH I never said it was an insurrection. I have simply challenged you to support your argument that an insurrection requires that people be armed with guns.

    4. @foodhatesme wouldn’t it be great if they were punished by becoming slaves? Oh wait, working a part time job they consider slavery

  1. A small group can be managed easier than a mob… and let’s not forget… one of the insurrectionists was shot and killed… Besides, your group didn’t need to break the law to be effective…

    1. spoken like someone who literally doesn’t know anything about MLK.
“a riot is the language of the unheard”.
      gosh, who said that?

    2. @Ian4tv it went right over your head. MLK fought for civil rights, this lady is doing political theater. Every legal citizen has the right to vote.

    1. I’ve gotten arrested for lesser. This is coming from an ex-gangmember. Everyone should be held accountable the same way.

    2. That’s not what happened to the insurrectionists at the Capitol. They were free to go. Yes they are getting picked up later. But they weren’t arrested when they should have been.

    1. @R Littlejohn The only reason you hear about that “insurrection” is so they can blame it on Trump. They are scared Biden is fading and Kamala polled very low in electability so their only option is to pretend that group of unarmed people that hurt no one was a big deal. One person was shot and that was by the capitol police. Now if the thought those people were democrats (some were btw) they would call it a peaceful protest and sweep it under the rug.

    2. @Gary FX4 this is the lefts problem, they can’t stand the truth. Please tell me how these voting bills restrict anyone’s right to vote? How come there are 74,000 mail in ballots just in Arizona that have no chain of custody? It’s all gonna unravel and the only thing your leaders will do is deny facts or “play” dumb. As an American I wonder if you will stand with the rest of the people after it’s exposed, or try to stand with those authoritarian fascists? If you pay a little bit of attention you’ll start to notice how it’s been nothing but projection and lies for many years

  2. Privilege to walk everywhere she wants, one of the few people on earth that can walk to the senate floor ? I thought she was oppressed and was arrested for only been black.

    1. She will never talk about the time armed Black Panther’s “stormed” the California Capital in the 70’s.

    1. @LONEDOG SHADY Comes from the 74 million people who think their votes are more important than 82 million votes…

    2. @Secretary of Education don’t confuse education with intelligence 😉. The left isn’t big on facts or science anymore. There’s no more room at the democratic inn for moderates anymore. That’s why we’re all leaving or have left in last few months. Joes demands for censorship only proved we were right to leave

    3. That’s when the south was all Democrats, because Lincoln was republican and freed the blacks…..The racists in the party all turned republican, when L.B.J. signed the Equal Rights Amendment. So if you didn’t know, now you know🧐

    4. @Ralph Leo sorry. But no. I was I life long dem I do know and no that’s a lie. Are you surprised they lied to ya to avoid embarrassing themselves. I’m not. You should no better. Ya know we should censor things like that 😉. Ya know like Biden wants… thought police. Lest you learn the real truth. You should be ashamed of that. What happened to the party of science. Hmmm? Lost their way. Here’s your big chance to get it right from now forth

    1. Based on current population data from the Census Bureau and voting data from previous elections, Just Facts has conducted a study to estimate the number of votes illegally cast by non-citizens in the battleground states of the 2020 election. The results—documented in this spreadsheet—show that such fraudulent activities netted Joe Biden the following extra votes in these tightly contested states:
      ▪ Arizona: 51,081 ± 17,689
      ▪ Georgia: 54,950 ± 19,025
      ▪ Michigan: 22,585 ± 7,842
      ▪ Nevada: 22,021 ± 7,717
      ▪ North Carolina: 46,218 ± 16,001
      ▪ Pennsylvania: 32,706 ± 11,332
      ▪ Wisconsin: 5,010 ± 1,774

  3. I’m beginning to think that all Democrats live in their own world. Definitely not the world I live in

  4. You are saying if I am beating someone with a bat, I can justify it by saying I was in my movement or moment??

  5. LOL- Yeah asking to get arrested is totally the same thing. Desperation reeks of this PR stunt, Stupid clowns.

  6. Yeah let’s talk about one moment in time and not a whole summer filled with fire, destruction and death

  7. With all the whining they did about police supposedly letting the intruders do whatever they wanted on January 6th, you’d think they would be somewhat relieved to be arrested now, because that means the police are doing their jobs, right? Nope, still more whining about January 6th. They want justice except when justice is served against them.

  8. Very interesting she let protesters into the capital without permission. Hmmmmmm I guess democrats are good at that.

  9. You fled your appointed post. Used tax payer dollars to party. Flew unmasked to flee responsibilities from state to federal. Now, you are forcing respectable reasonable consequences to return to do your job!

  10. I don’t keep up with all current events well enough to know what this lady’s circumstances are.

I do, however, know how to spot a rat trying to sneak illogical thought processes into other people’s minds. That news anchor is as far from unbiased and interested in giving the people the straight facts as you can get. So, I get suspicious of what this lady supports.
