  1. Amazing that some are still being found alive. Nobody will give up while there’s still a chance 🥰

  2. is there anything you can do I don’t understand how they’re still finding people alive but yet it’s like societies don’t give up on them where’s are The cranes people are digging by hand I don’t understand why we’re not still trying to find rescue people the proof is out there there are people still alive why are we not searching any longer for people like we did the first 24 hours this is insane

    1. Obviously they have NOT GIVEN UP. Thats what this story is about FFS! However we are talking about genuine miracles here. These late rescues are due to unique circumstances i.e. 2 brothers had access to protein powder. Most critically, is the fact that the human body cannot normally go without water for 3 days (without food for 3 weeks). For each miracle find there are thousands of bodies being recovered. BTW cranes do not dig by hand & their weight may be crushing bodies below the surface.

    2. Syria has been destroyed many times over. So sad.
This is a third world country. No cranes, no firefighters, no professional rescue. They depend on themselves and other countries that have come in to help. Allah/God bless them all.

    3. Professional rescue teams did go in. I think they pulled back because of the danger of the buildings falling. These that have continued on are beyond amazing.

  3. Unbelievable!! Surely international help should continue!! This is disturbing, to know people are still alive, calling for help. COME ON WORLD!! Get back there and help

  4. The number of people still alive after so many days will forever change how long we search for people in future tragic earthquakes I believe.

    1. They have found people alive 17 days after an earthquake. It makes me wonder if they had a little food and water. It might be good for us all to have a little stashed under our beds just in case.

  5. Grateful for every life saved and every rescuer out there that has persevered. I hope help and support continue to immediately pour into Turkey & Syria to help save the survivors- unimaginable to have no food, water, shelter, or warmth for so many people. So sorry for all the trauma those people are having to endure.😢

  6. The resilience of some humans is unbelievable. I cannot imagine being buried underneath rubble hoping to be found before slowly slipping away. The anxiety alone could kill. I am praying that the rescue operation would go on for as long as possible.

    1. They are Muslims. Everything is based on faith. We believe in LA ILAHAH ILALLAH (NO god is worthy to be worshipped than ALLAH ALONE. THIS IS PURE MONOTHEISM. NO ATHEIST CAN DENY THOSE MIRACLES. ATHEISTS ARE ALL HIDING THEIR FACE NOW. MAY ALLAH GUIDE HUMANITY TO ISLAM THE RELIGION OF TRUTH AND FAITH.

    2. Me too. Let us all pray..Nothing is impossible with God! Have mercy on us! Save us! and the whole world O precious blood of Jesus!

  7. I think the temps are leaving some people temporary comatose. The body goes on life support mode. This is unique

  8. Just the thought of people still alive waiting for rescue that may or may never come is heartbreaking.
That’s also why I donated what I could spare to help those affected.

  9. There are so many more buildings that haven’t been checked yet. It’s such a despairing feeling to know that there could be dozens of people, if not more, scattered all over the affected area that are still clinging onto life. If only there was a way to do more.

  10. Rescuers are so amazing. They did not give up even after the deadline of rescue for survivors. Miracles, indeed, happen when there is hope, faith and persistence.

    1. They are Muslims. Their faith is stronger than calamities. This is what Islam is. May Allah guide humanity to Islam.

  11. I think that the cold weather has played a role in people surviving this long. It probably helped with fluid loss and kept heart rates low for energy conservation.
I believe that not many people would have survived after 3 days in warm weather because they would have sweated everything out.

  12. Amazing and admirable how they haven’t given up on rescuing and still searching for survivors ❤️

Had it been “somewhere else” they would have stopped the search and would have start to clean up a long time ago.

  13. It’s so sad for all the lives lost but I’m so happy for the ones who have managed to pull through such tragedy and grateful there’s saviors to save them. May their guardian angels continue to watch over them and protect them.
