  1. Keep in mind that they took a month and a half to finally decide to release the video, someone took it upon themselves to release it for the world to see. Who’s fault is this? The ones trying to cover everything up. Blame the DA , blame the governor and the one in charge for this, it’s like opening a wound and adding salt.

    1. I’m not sure what they wanted to see first. All I saw was a bunch of cowards pseudo cops standing around listening to innocent children being killed. Every one knew this happened now Every one can physically see the cowardice of all of those heavily armored and armed people do nothing. Honestly if someone wouldn’t have leaked this we never would have seen this. I feel that they where probably going to try to settle with the parents and keep this out of the public eye. But this video will help the parents sue everyone involved now

    2. I agree, this video should have been released right the week after. Why did it take “them” so long? I believe it probably would never have seen the light of day had it not been for the leak.

    3. These poor babies schools getting ready to start and im sure every parent has anxiety like me wondering if it’s really safe now 😥😥 I don’t know if I should send my kids to school now I don’t know what to do !!!

    4. @YouStink Accountability. They need to know what was and wasn’t done to save their children. That’s why the parents needed to review it. But you better believe none of them actually “wants” to see it. 😔💔

  2. Extremely disrespectful to the parents/families, but things are not always as the seem.

Maybe the person who did it knew of the cover up and thought it was the only way for it get released. It could be that someone was trying to help even as painful as it turned out to be.

    1. True. They would never release the footage. There are more cameras in that school than just one. They haven’t shown you any of the other cameras. That’s a problem that’s why this one is out. They are covering it up you will get no information unless someone shows the world. It’s called a whistleblower

    1. @LN_Dave yeah like since they just lost their kids, how they doing TV shows about them losing their kids?

    2. These parents needs to take a break from the internet, not everything revolves around them.

    1. The leaker is just trolling, the boomer parents actually needs to get off the internet if they can’t handle it, LMAO!

  3. Tears are never ending for these parents!! I couldn’t even imagine!! My heart bleeds for these parents!!

    1. @Maria D Pretending is what led to this disaster, and it will not help to continue pretending. The parents should by now have hired an investigator and a lawyer to go after the idiots whom they allowed to run their city and school. Those leaders need to be destroyed financially and imprisoned.

    2. The leaker is just trolling, the boomer parents actually needs to get off the internet if they can’t handle it, LMAO!

  4. What in the hell is wrong with the officials in Texas? Just another slap in the face for these parents… they need an attorney to file a class action lawsuit against everyone involved from the top down.

    1. It’s a lash out. They say they have been begging for weeks to see video for transparency. They don’t get it, so when someone accommodates them, they get upset because they didn’t see it first? People should stop reaching out to the media and the public for help since they really don’t want it. Maybe they will be happier with the doctored up and heavily edited video that their mayor will allow them to see after he and his people see it and approve of it first.

    2. @Oasis5 can you tell me where I can view BOTH versions, heavily edited/doctored and approved for release and the raw/original, of the videos. Thanks.

    1. @samsonx511 who said anyone was against gun reform? Don’t make up an argument. Unfortunately this is the current America we live in.

    2. @ThankYouForIncorrectingMe The only thing I saw on the video was the police doing nothing. I saw no children being injured or killed.

    3. @ThankYouForIncorrectingMe The police and city governments had plenty of time to release the video to them. This video would never have been seen if it was not leaked.

    1. @Coronavirus is the best thing to ever happen its not even about that.
They probably just need anything to lash out on right now.
22 peoples children are dead. Grievance is hard, I just empathize for the trauma that they have to endure.

    2. @Koffi Arizamoto They need anything to lash out on right now? No, what they need is self-control, otherwise they aren’t adults (mentally).

    3. @Coronavirus is the best thing to ever happen then had to hear everyday how the cops sat outside and did nothing for 45 minutes.
If not on the news then on the radio if not on the radio your neighbor, friends family talking about it constantly.
Cut them some slack they’re only being human.

    4. @Luminary Harris yeah. i doubt it but still trying to stay optimistic and hopeful . anyways stay safe in the messed up world

  5. I’m glad it came out so we all know what happened. I do agree that the parents should’ve been told first.

    1. I think they are wrong by complaining about the video.Like wtf do you mean!?they are getting exposed and you should be happy for that.Get justice and don’t keep it quiet parents come on!I as a parent would of been fuming at the police and would of already filed a law suit as soon as I seen the video.use it!they did you a favor people!!!!!

    2. They knew the video existed. If they want to blame someone, the district attorney is right there. Go blame her. Not really sure how Gov Abbott is to blame for the DA not releasing it

    3. I think with some more time, and if this leak leads to serious repercussions for the derelict cop a-holes, they’ll value this leak in a different light. I totally understand the initial rage, but there is just waaaaaay too much of a likelihood that it would have gotten edited all to hell to cover for the cops or suppressed completely. It’s Texas, not exactly known for “justice” and this leak increases the chances justice is served, even if it’s painful right now.

    4. @snipman 80 I could see that. I can’t disagree with your assessment. Too many things get swept under the rug and minimized. Maybe you’re right. Maybe someone saw that coming and released it in an effort to hold them accountable.

    5. These parents needs to take a break from the internet, not everything revolves around them.

    1. @norm simpson There is no excuse for this .I can’t think of anything else to say except group together,go national, and get the best lawyer that is versed in this.Check the track record

    2. @#SuperOldGameSaturday
I did see and hear about the Uvalde school shooting when it happened, however I have not gone in-depth, nor followed much more of the story, just because of all the lies, that I was certain would follow and then just pure disgust and overall sadness in my mind for all of those that were just murdered in a vey brutal, inhumane and cold-blooded manner. Also, I really just don’t watch news, of any kind, in general very much anymore and that is just simply because they ONLY tell you what they want you to know and/or what they think you should know. So, with that in mind, please correct me if I am wrong… but from your comment I gathered this. The shooter was the villain to most but he was the hero to the left because the left is dead-set on gun control and the abolishment of the 2nd amendment and anyone that comments a cowardly act, as such, just places even more power and evidence in the hands of the left in order to further their agenda as well as making it that much more likely that they will eventually get their wish. At which time, absolutely NOBOBY will own a gun OTHER than outlaws, police and military and, of course, anyone that they have complete control over so they can still have their “2 gun shots to the back of the head suicides” done whenever someone gets out of line and/or starts talking to much about the lefts agendas and/or one of their own, to much!?!?!? Sound about right??? Also, what’s up with all this talk about this being a planned massacre (which wouldn’t surprise me just so the left can further push their agenda), cover-ups, everything else and what not??? Thanks in advance.

  6. Honestly, I’m happy this was released, but the parents should have seen it first. Parents, we see the video and we’re outraged FOR YOU!

    1. Speak for yourself little boy. I’m not outraged on their behalf. I don’t understand why when a crime occurs, the families of the victims are somehow more entitled to public information than anybody else. . These videos showed an appalling level of inaction by the police. That is a public safety issue for everyone, not just families of the deceased.

    2. @Brian Barha You’ve made it absolutely nowhere, and it’s pretty obvious that that’s why you have such hatred of the educated.

    3. Yesn’t. That’s the right thing to do, but look at the footage, it was alreadyd being edited! To cover those cowards. It being leaked was the best course of action.

  7. It sounds like the person released the video because they knew a coverup was happening and they wanted the truth to come out and were trying to help.

    1. @Ale Alforrez thank you for that info, but why should they have had to wait that much longer? Surely they could have gotten together and seen it sooner then Sunday. This whole thing is a mess and tragic!

    2. The leaker is just trolling, the boomer parents actually needs to get off the internet if they can’t handle it, LMAO!

  8. They didn’t care enough to risk their lives for your children, they are not looking out for your interests, they’re trying to save their asses. I couldn’t fathom how painful this is for you, but the world needed to see why we need change. It’s outright despicable what that city has done. Top to bottom

    1. @Daniel Cruz “they weren’t trained for school shootings by live fire it was airsoft smfh”

  9. The blood is on every law enforcement employees that did NOTHING to stop this horrific act, keep on fighting parents and families

    1. These parents needs to take a break from the internet, not everything revolves around them.

  10. I was outraged all the way from Australia! The incompetence and cowardice of the police was horrible to watch ! My Condolences to all the families who lost their children 🙏🙏

    1. @Aparna Rajesh We didn’t ban guns in Australia, we tightly regulate them. You can own a gun, if you can show good cause to own one (and self defence is not one), if you have a secure place to keep them (a gun cabinet bolted to the foundations of the house, for example) and if you pass very stringent personal checks, e.g. no history of violent behaviour, no links to crime, etc. and you are limited in what you can own – shot gun and rifle for hunting/stock control on a farm, pistol for sport shooting on a range (in which case, your gun is kept at your club, not in your home.)

    2. @Arianddu but your police can use their weapons for self defense right?…. do you think your police would have done the same thing as the police as Uvalde?… if so then you need the right to self defense

    3. @Hellish Cyberdemon Our police mostly are not armed with guns. And the fact that our guns are so tightly regulated means we don’t have mass shootings like this.
Also, we aren’t conditioned to think “the only thing that can stop a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun”, so we don’t freeze when faced with violence. The last time, several years ago, when there was a public shooting (it was actually someone holding hostages in a cafe), the guy was taken out by two people using a chair and a milk crate – they waited for him to be focussed somewhere else, rushed him, tackled him to the ground, knocked him unconscious and pinned him down until the cops had him in handcuffs.
You don’t need a gun for self defence.
And no, if we ever do have a school under fire, our police won’t react like this, because the police we have that are armed with guns are trained specialists, not beat cops.

  11. The question that concerns me is, would the DA have released it at all? We know they tried to cover up what happened at Uvalde. was this the only way the parents would have gotten to see that footage? At all? The fact that this was leaked rather than released speaks volumes to me. It says the DA wasn’t going to release anything that made the cops look bad.

And now my cat insists on comforting the grieving parents who aren’t in the room with me. That’s how intense their grief is, that a recording set off my therepy cat and made him think I was in trouble.

    1. The leaker is just trolling, the boomer parents actually needs to get off the internet if they can’t handle it, LMAO!

  12. I disagree. Although the parents should have seen it first, the cops were never going to let anyone see the videos, and if anything, they were going to edit them to make it look better for the cops. This was a leak, meaning it was not supposed to be seen (at least not yet), and since it was a leak, it’s not like it would be possible to send it to the parents specifically.

    1. Yeah, these parents can’t think straight after what they went through. Sucks you didn’t get to see it first but it needed to come out, kudos to whoever leaked it.

    2. The leaker is a troll and the boomer parents actually needs to get off the internet if they can’t handle it, LMAO!

  13. Abuse of power and disgusting cowardly behavior. This was a cover up and the way they been doing it make me sick. How can anyone trust law enforcement now!

  14. The person who leaked the video is not the one to blame. As heart breaking as this is, the blame belongs to whoever believed that they could sweep this footage under the rug, hiding it from the families and the world. The proper line of action should have been immediately letting the parents see all relevant footage, followed by the release of all footage from security cameras and body cams alike to the world. The government of Uvalde made an active decision to hide their wrongdoing and cower in the same way that the cops in the footage did. Meanwhile a brave leaker let this footage fall in the world’s hands so as to be judged by the court of public opinion. While I respect the wish for the proper course to have been taken, it’s important to look at this situation as it stands
