In Canada our minimum wage is $16.50, it’s illegal to be paid any lower. Here you’d be paid $25 and higher! Seem right to you? Capitalism has completely screwed over the middle class and lower class! This could be fixed but the establishment works for the rich and it won’t be fixed anytime soon. Bernie was the only one fighting for the American people and that’s why establishment media and democrats did everything they could to not get him elected and it worked sadly. Bernie is a hero. Wish there were more politicians like him, around the world. By that I mean people who go into politics because of a burning desire to bring social justice and human rights for workers, not because they want a career, and power. Take a look at the Senators, including, shamefully, some Dems, who voted against Bernie’s amendment, and you’ll see what I mean: people like Kamala Harris voting with one eye on the VP slot, and people like Bernie, who care abt ordinary folk. What a chance American missed, at this catastrophic turning point, to choose a President who put the people of his country first and foremost.
