  1. The GOP obviously thinks that the Trump-stacked SCOTUS will rule their way, regardless of standing or merit. Thankfully, most of the Justices still believe in the rule of law.

    1. Look the DEMS tried to use her to raise $$$ same with Kav, they raised money against Collins (R) then ran a horrible candidate against her. Folks got used for $$$ plain and simple.

    2. @John Bohica Amy Comey Barrett came from Metairie, a white nationalist Catholic suburb of New Orleans where I grew up. As a Latino, I experienced brutal racism in this neighborhood from children, their parents, teachers, and police. They are also very religious. This is MAGAT central..the last place you should pick a justice from…I’m surprised that these justices seem to actually be doing their jobs so far.

  2. GOP still trying to cancel Obama. They just don’t understand that their hate for the black President is going to be their downfall.

    1. Insignificant360 he refers to himself as a black man. Because he is. His skin is black lm missing your point?

    2. @HS All that tells me is you’re cocky just like Donald. Cheaters never win HS and Trump lost. I know it hurts but look at the bright side. We have a much nicer person as our POTUS. God has had enough of this mistreatment of the people that was created. That man has tricked yours and 74 000 000 others mind. He is not the chosen one and never was. Stop listening when he speaks because you have at this point no control of your belief system he does otherwise why would you believe the cockamamie stories he tells. Right now you are a quack pot ready to explode.

    3. I wish people would get off Obama’s back too. His 7 proxy wars and turning Libya into a slave trading country, deporting more illegals then all presidents combined was his highest achievement.

  3. It’s not siding with Liberals…it’s doing the right thing. The Republicans had four years to put a healthcare plan in place and did noting but undo everything that the Democrats did while in office. The only thing the Republican seem to do well is divide this Country….I’m tired of the dumb sh*t!

    1. @pawel2003 calling someone a fool because you disagree with them, makes you the fool for being so childish and disrespectful.

    2. @D Maestro the people who work and have to use Obama care can’t afford the premiums. So, no Healthcare plan vs an unreachable Healthcare plan.

  4. I’m pretty sure I just heard the head of a Trump-supporter explode. Such a sweet sound!

  5. Obamacare helped people who wanted it, it has over 20 million members and it was dump to go after it. The stupid people that wanted it gone for some reason did not care If it had 20 million members, that was one of Trumps stupid mistakes he never looked at the membership, people chose it cause they liked it.

    1. Baby Cheesus is an approval driven creature. If someone tells him the base would love him for putting in some professed anti-abortionists he’d do it in a heartbeat, which he did.

  6. The Supreme Court won’t do the repuicans dirty work for them . When orange baby took office they had control of both houses and couldn’t get it done so they try to get the courts to do it for them. Where’s their plan?

  7. Not both sides. The republicans put nominees that are obviously not qualified. Not qualified according to the attorney Barr associations. Many of them have never tried a case.

  8. I’m really happy we were wrong about coney Barrett and I hope we continue to be surprised by her. It doesn’t excuse her views or the groups she chose to receive money from, but I am happy for everyone that gets to keep their coverage!

  9. It seems the court has a consensus of sorts. If it’s just an abiding distain over being used as a partisan or ideological weapon. Something at least

    1. Think there is some truth to your analysis. However, it’s not that conservative justices wouldn’t have overturned the ACA if they could have; it was that the law wouldn’t let them—-the states had no standing, as they suffered no harm given that Republicans essentially eliminated the mandate, lowering the penalty to zero. Besides, as pointed out here, the merits of the case for overturning the ACA were lousy if consideration had even gotten that far. Although the 7-2 vote is a victory for millions of Americans, it is nonetheless no great victory or predictor for future sensible conservative SCOTUS decisions, as this SCOTUS decision should have been 9-0 if not for two conservative justices voting along partisan lines while voting against the law and common sense. Besides, the only thing that held this conservative SCOTUS in check is that they would have lost too much credibility and respect had they ruled against the ACA, given the case and legal arguments. So, perhaps a huge sigh of relief this time they did the right thing, but have no doubt this conservative SCOTUS will continue to render bad, strictly partisan decisions whenever they think they can get away with it.

  10. Why do they want to hurt the people . What companies keep bringing this legislation to the courts? We need the Affordable Care Act! Thank you Justices for not taking the A.C.A. from the people. We the People are grateful .

    1. Yep theyneedto find something else to try and CANCEL lol they hate cancel culture but it is all they know how to do. They are unable to actually do anything but cut taxes to rich. Last only thing they still know how to do.

  11. Making sure the Affordable Care Act remains valid, for 31 million Americans it’s not just the right decisions, it’s common sense. I don’t have to be a Supreme Court Judge to figure out this moral issue. Who is determining whether Americans live or die or are able to go to work to feed and house the family?

    1. @Richie Tattersall Correct answer. Two points. The worst part of it is, if Congress tried to take away the president’s health insurance while Trump was in the White House, he would have had a cow. Possibly literally. Cloven hoofs and all. But take it away from 30 million other Americans and Trump’s just fine with that, as is McConnell and all the rest.

    2. Sad part. You have people that want him T**** back you have to be insane to wanting him back

  12. It is NOT about Liberal or conservative, it is about HELPING people! We ALL should want to HELP people, even if WE don’t need help right now..

One Day, we ALL WILL need help..

    1. Problem is Republicans don’t want to help anyone but the ultra rich.

If they could enslave the American people to serve the 1% they would happily do so.

    2. @Adam Taylor wow. It’s strange to thing that people have been so programmed by the media that you believe this.

  13. If the role of government is to protect citizens, what is the reason to deny citizens right to healthcare. Makes no sense. The system is hardly comparable to the UK or other much smaller but developed economies.

    1. @Brock Samson Republicans have been busily transferring our wealth to the 1% and corporations; while, at the same time grooming us to believe that access to healthcare is a luxury, not a basic human right.

    2. @Demetria Karnavas At the same time, there are people like Biden who say they will veto universal healthcare. Many democrats are playing the same game as republicans. When the 1% get to pick the politicians on both sides, they win regardless of whether there is a D or an R by the leader’s name.

    3. @Brock Samson I agree. We have the government we deserve because we’re not scrupulous voters. The vote is the single most powerful thing each of us possesses and we aren’t smart enough to weaponize it collectively for our benefit.

    4. Remember republicans just think about money for their pockets and the wealthy; they don’t care about the rest of us

  14. Man oh man does The Big Liar love to lose. Of all the people who’ve lost a Supreme Court case, this loser has lost the most. No one’s ever lost the way he lost. People didn’t think it was possible, and now they can’t believe it.

  15. To be fair to Trump, he doesn’t listen to anyone and losing is in his DNA – it’s the only thing he’s consistent at in politics.

  16. it’s gratifying to see that Amy Coney Barrett has principles, despite her endorsement from the Orange Caligula

  17. THIS LAW WAS LITERALLY PASSED 12 YEARS AGO THIS IS EMBARRASSING THAT IT’S EVEN STILL A CONVERSATION. KAVANAUGH SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SEATED THE PICK WAS STOLEN THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. HE DESERVES NO CREDIT
