Blog Money Problems! 19 October 2016 Year 2 10 comments As it is enterprise week we have been working with money! We were trying to find as many ways as possible to make 20p, 50p and £1 using different coins. Can you think of a way to make 50p using 5 coins? Prev Next

Yes 10p 10p 10p 10p 10p

20p 10p 5p 5p 10p

I would use 5p +5p+ 10p +20p+10p

You could do five 10p coins because you could do ten plus ten plus ten plus ten plus ten equals fifty.

I liked the bit where we tried to get to the number 20 with our coins.

1Op + 10p + 10p +10p +10p = 50p

You could use five 10p or one 50p by its self! Maybe you could do

two 5p, two 10p and one 20p. All of them equal 50p.

10p+20p+5p+5p+10p=50p

10p + 10p + 20p + 5p + 5p = 50p

You can also do 20p +5p +5p +10p+10p
