And the more of them that win in their primaries, the more fractured the GOP will become. I’d say it’s actually a blessing in disguise for the saner, better educated, and more equitable segments of our society, which are thankfully the overall majority.

It’s not complicated, he just looks at the array of candidates and then asks himself who’s the one that if I support would piss McConnell off more and then chooses that. It’s a very simple process.

Uhhh one thing you miss because all you do is look at the big picture of national politics is that neither of the Republican candidates actually live in PA. This matters to the people here democrats and republicans alike. It matters a lot.
Fetterman is a candidate that is the working class man here and will appeal to that base that voted for trump and also is the Lt. Gov. Lamb is more of a mainstream candidate that would pull the moderates and republicans that don’t follow the herd. So either way it won’t be a cake walk no matter which of the Republicans trump endorsed.
I didn’t think a person could run for office to represent a state unless they were a local resident.

Everyone who supports Trump perplexes everyone who’s even close to sane. How can there be anyone left who supports him and is remotely capable of being perplexed unless he miraculously said something that’s true and not self-serving?

As for why Dr. Oz it is simple: Trump saw him on television. Period. That is literally the issue, Trump recognized Dr. Oz from the others because Trump had seen Dr. Oz on television prior and so that was who Trump recognized. Personally I just see this as another opportunity to have Trump arrested as his “followers” will be too confused to protest.
He also said Oz had “said nice things about him”, and that Melania liked him too. As you can see, Trump’s endorsement of Oz is a carefully weighted decision.
