As the search for an Alabama correctional officer and inmate who disappeared together stretched into its sixth day, authorities have revealed the pair had a "special relationship" that extended out of the officer's normal work hours and included special privileges for the inmate.

Authorities say Assistant Director for Corrections Vicky White, 56, and inmate, Casey White, 38, vanished together Friday after leaving a northern Alabama jail. Police also released surveillance video Tuesday with the last known sighting of the pair as they left the facility.

The pair are unrelated.

  1. The word “vanquished” bolted into my mind for an unknown reason while watching this clip when i saw the word “vanished”. Perhaps this can provide some sort of relevant insight.

    1. Wikipedia ~
The Aston Martin Vanquish is a high-performance grand tourer introduced by British luxury automobile manufacturer Aston Martin in 2001 as a successor to the Aston Martin Vantage (1993).

The first-generation of the “V12 Vanquish,” designed by Ian Callum and unveiled at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, was produced from 2001 to 2007 as the flagship of the marque. The concept car, known as “Project Vantage” and the first Aston Martin design wholly styled by Callum, was built by the Ford Motor Company with craftsman Dilip Chhabria to display the company’s vision for a future sports car to represent Aston Martin after the discontinuation of the Virage-based Vantage. The V12 Vanquish closely resembled the concept car, and featured carbon fibre and alloy construction, Aston Martin’s most powerful V12 engine, and host of new technologies. A specially modified V12 Vanquish was driven by James Bond in the 2002 film Die Another Day. In 2004, a mildly updated version of the first-generation model named “V12 Vanquish S” was introduced featuring a more highly tuned engine and more track-oriented ride and handling. The V12 Vanquish was indirectly replaced by the DBS after 2007.

The second-generation Vanquish was introduced in 2012, based on the Aston Martin’s VH platform, followed in 2017 by a “Vanquish S” with a more powerful engine and improved aerodynamics. The second-generation Vanquish was succeeded by the DBS Superleggera in 2018.[2]

So she said what’s the problem baby
      What’s the problem I don’t know
Well maybe I’m in love (love)
      Think about it every time
      I think about it
      Can’t stop thinking about it
How much longer will it take to cure this
Just to cure it cause I can’t ignore it if it’s love (love)
Makes me want to turn around and face me
But I don’t know nothing about love, oh
      Come on, come on
      Turn a little faster
      Come on, come on
      The world will follow after
      Come on, come on
      Because everybody’s after love
      So I said I’m a snowball running
Running down into the spring that’s coming all this love
      Melting under blue skies
      Belting out sunlight
      Shimmering love
      Well baby I surrender
      To the strawberry ice cream
Never ever end of all this love
Well I didn’t mean to do it
But there’s no escaping your love, oh
      These lines of lightning mean
      We’re never alone
      Never alone, no, no
      Come on, come on
      Move a little closer
      Come on, come on
I want to hear you whisper
      Come on, come on
Settle down inside my love, oh
      Come on, come on
      Jump a little higher
      Come on, come on
If you feel a little lighter
      Come on, come on
We were once upon a time in love
      We’re accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally in love
      Accidentally
I’m in love, I’m in love
I’m in love, I’m in love
I’m in love, I’m in love
      Accidentally
I’m in love, I’m in love
I’m in love, I’m in love
I’m in love, I’m in love
      Accidentally
      Come on, come on
      Spin a little tighter
      Come on, come on
And the world’s a little brighter
      Come on, come on
      Just get yourself inside her
      Love
      I’m in love

  2. it isn’t much of a stretch to believe that Vick White was dead within hours of the escape. the second she stopped being useful, she became a liability.

    1. Oh god yeah. She obviously was easily manipulated. Once he was out, she was a liability and her usefulness was at an end.

    2. He’s so conspicuous he needs her to stay on the run. He can be hidden away while she can somewhat disguise herself (dying and cutting hair). She can get whatever they need to survive as long as she is using cash. Which she may have a lot of. If he kills her, then he has to get his own things, which will bring him to the police radar almost immediately.

  3. A special relationship with a convict who has a 75 year sentence and charged with capital murder. She’s “special” alright SMDH
