US negotiator in 2015 Iran nuclear deal speaks to CNN

CNN’s Becky Anderson speaks with former US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz about the deal the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) struck with Iran that will give inspectors continued access to verify and monitor nuclear activity in the country for the next three months, potentially laying the ground work for Washington and Tehran to kick-start nuclear talks.

  1. developing nuclear weapons are not going to solve the problems Iran is facing. Only hard work, more education, modernism, principled progress along with global friendship and outlook will.

    1. FEB/2021. Follow the money. Biden is not better than Trump on Iran Nuclear Deal political strategy. All this is due to the money flowing to politicians from Energy Industry donors, the decision is likely to raise the risk of conflict in the Middle East (more wars), hence this will benefit Private and Defense Contractors, Arms Producers, Suppliers and NRA (mafia).

    1. The rest of the money that we owe them and then probably a lot more economic aid on top thanks to Trump’s stupidity in leaving in the first place.

  2. Suppression Trolls are all over this one huh. Literally 90% of comments have nothing to do with anything. So sad…

    1. Lots of deflection. Trump put the whole world at risk by backing out of the deal. We lost a lot of our allies respect, and gave Iran the green light to start enriching weapons grade uranium. His cult would rather deflect to another subject, like James Comey, or Hunter Biden. The most irrelevant people on the planet.

  3. Oh, thank goodness. Now that Trump’s Russian collusion is out of the way we can get back to the serious business of helping Russia’s allies.

  4. you must be fool to trust U.S. with their signature again after what they’ve done, so there’s not going to be a deal, I’m afraid.

  5. It is nice to see a real president in the White House; instead of the goof Donald Trump who didn’t have a clue about anything.

  6. actually its the u.s thats playing a losing game. sooner or later they are gonna have to lift the sanctions. its either that or war to stop Iran from going nuclear. and we all know the u.s is not in a position to go through another middle eastern war against a foe many times the size and strength of Iraq.
