    1. @Steven Robinson if that is the case… China then gets vaporized…. Which we should have done in the ‘50s anyway. MacArthur was right. Truman was wrong.

    2. @BLaCKBeaRD Japan used ballon’s to attempt to attack power grids and if I remember correctly some carried explosives. They figured out how to get them to the USA during WW2. Now China has a lot of technology. Idk I’m going to see how this plays out.

  1. “We have no intention of violating their air space” – China

While the balloon has been in our airspace for 4 days already

    1. You know, during the Cold War, the USSR and the United States launched hundreds of balloons on each other’s territory. And yes, they are VERY hard to beat. Since there are no missiles that could target such a surface. And yet there are no aircraft that could fly at such a height. Previously, they tried to shoot down using the side of the balloon heated by the sun. But even so, it is very difficult.

    2. @Trugss Gogorf There are no aircraft that could fly as high as…..A BALLOON?? Let’s stop making excuses why the United States of America can’t take down a balloon.

    1. Are you serious? If an American sesna flies into a military zone it gets blasted to pieces. You don’t want to know why or what they are doing with a Chinese balloon? I agree its probably nothing but I think we have a right to know everything

    2. US doesn’t even have the ability to detect and shoot down Chinese high altitude spacecraft right now, look at that balloon.

  2. “Doesn’t pose a risk” while its literally hovering over an area with the largest concentration of US missile silos

    1. Matt – matt9822 – do you know what the nuclear triad is? You need to look that up. AND, are you familiar with a tactic called diversion? This balloon sure looks like a diversion tactic. It’s to obvious to be what it appears to be. Look those things up and stamp out ignorance.✌️

    2. the biggest danger is that the balloon is Chinese, it can fall on someone’s head, the silos are monitored differently anyway

    3. So China can send a hot air balloon from China traveling 5 MPH and go unnoticed, but the government wants us to believe that we can stop a missile coming from China or russia 🤣🤣🤣 yea….ok…..

    4. US doesn’t even have the ability to detect and shoot down Chinese high altitude spacecraft right now, look at that balloon.

  3. Maybe I missed it, but did anyone mention Canada’s reaction to this balloon- today or recently, as it was in their space before heading to the US?

    1. @tokamak The Washington Post reported that “NORAD had taken steps to remove its data collection abilities” when it entered US airspace over Alaska. It’s just a clown show in the sky now. I wonder if Xi is happy with the nitwit that used the bright illuminous white spandex instead of the camo sky blue spandex when they made it? Also the “Grand Opening of Trump Tower Beijing” letters on the side of it are interesting. 😅

    2. @Mailman mac What classified information? Are you trolling the WRONG comment section? No worthless Rubles for you today!

  4. With all our money spent on defense, you mean to tell me we can’t get a balloon down from the sky? Someone is lying to us.

    1. @John Monroe Can you say Pentagon experts ? You people just make noise because it’s convenient?🤣Lying Trump still LOST and will still LOSE in 2024🤣🤡

    2. @Guillermo El Nino OK fascists, but the Pentagon experts and advisers give him advice. He’s not the one with the secret Chinese bank account. Lying Trump is🤷🏾‍♂️🤡

    3. @Jay 4You you should be charging orange man rent. Becsuse hes been living in your head flgoing on 7 years now

    4. @KP Broken window model…allow the little things, then the big things come after with no resistance. There is absolute no argument about allowing a fucking Chinese spy balloon in the USA bro. You all are out of your goddamn minds.

  5. “What is that?”
    “Is a moon?”“Is a UFO?” “Is a planet?”
“No, it’s a Chinese spying ballon!”

    1. Oh relax kids, it is a balloon from some random “NGO”, aren’t you American already familiar about it?🤣

  6. This makes me realize how weak we are as a nation that we allow random foreign aircraft to invade our airspace.

  7. It’s funny how if the pentagon didn’t confirm the fact that it’s a balloon, people would almost certainly say it’s aliens😂

    1. that just a mistake and China ballon in test out of controls..In the past USA U2 plane and other ballon alway fly over China, today is just karma.

    2. Weather balloon but Fox News turns it into a great conspiracy to sell more ads and all the sheep fall in line 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

    3. Guys…this is about not letting the enemy know that you know that they know and so forth. Watch a few episodes of Spy vs Spy and you’ll get the jist

  8. Americans now: wow look at that balloon, but it’s ok it won’t cause any problems, let’s not do anything about it
    Americans one week later:

  9. Judging by the size of the balloon, it is hosting a sizeable equipment(s). More likely, it’s packed high tech sensors to pick up certain electronic signatures. Considering its altitude, it may be after the electronic communication from our satellite to the ground facilities.

    1. that just a mistake and China ballon in test out of controls..In the past USA U2 plane and other ballon alway fly over China, today is just karma.

    1. @DietCok175 dude I’m serious what if something is in that ballon they could be stealling our missles to attack taiwan

  10. Similar ballon was seen in Japan in 2020. June,2020, in Sendai, northern Japanese city, same ballon are seen and my friend saw it. Its identity was not prove at that time.

  11. I remember a time when or leaders actually had a backbone and any threat over our country would have been eliminated.

    1. This is such a big nothing story. They have satellites that can take a pic of every square inch of America and there’s nothing we can do about that. This is 1930s technology just messing with Us citizens because we’re doing the same over there AKA Pissing contest

    2. It’s about 50,000 feet up and it weighs a couple of tons. So if you blow that thing up, there’s going to be debris. Raining over a large area and something falling from 40,000 ft. Definitely has enough velocity to kill somebody, destroy a house, destroy a vehicle, start fires, etc etc etc. It’s far less dangerous to anybody floating up there. They’re deciding on a plan to bring it down safely.

  12. It can be snagged in mid-air to find out what it’s doing, where it’s sending its telemetry or other data.

    1. Exactly!YouTube experts wouldn’t know anything if it wasn’t visible. There are dozens of daily threats they don’t know about. And seeing how they’re freaking out now I understand why.

  13. Hey, someone mentioned that the balloon could have something inside it and this is a very good point (especially from China). Thus why it has not been shot down yet. Maybe this just might be correct? Better to grab it (without popping) and see first. What do you all think?

    1. The military can bring it down without major damage to the balloon or loss of life on the ground.
They will not because Biden will never allow it. If Biden was to do anything other than obey China, everything China has on Biden and Dems will be outed.

    2. @Chris Flach That is true, except dont forget that many of the republicans are on the same anti American sell out team. It could have a nuclear weapon, similar to the Trojan horse trick they used in ancient Greece. This is a massive violation and just another obvious sign of so many people bowing the knee to CCP China.

  14. Why is it not reported when this balloon first cruised close by Alaska, down west coast and entered either BC or Washington state ?
Don’t tell me it’s only noticed when it’s already in Montana

    1. Because there’s no reason to make it a big deal in public. The US is super strategic and know what they are doing. I am sure the just want to keep observing it and see where it lands or when it lands they get more info on it instead of shooting it down.
