World Bank President pledges support towards Haiti’s rebuilding efforts at CARICOM 21st Inter-Sessio

Roseau, Dominica– March 16, 2010………. Chairman of the 15-nation Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Dominica’s Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit has described as “constructive” a discussion between CARICOM Heads of Government and the President of the World Bank, Hon. Robert Zoellick on a wide range of issues at the just concluded 21st Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community in Roseau, Dominica.

Dominica among 20 Caribbean countries to participate in Caribbean ICT Roadshow in August, 2010

Roseau, Dominica– March 16, 2010…… Secretary General of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), Ms. Bernadette Lewis has underscored the importance of the greater use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) by Caribbean countries as a mechanism to foster greater economic development in the region and to mitigate some of the challenges the region faces.
